    Quote from Andrei2007 >>

Conceding after a bad mulligan is really bad. A good player always goes for their outs, and only when there is no possibility to win the game anymore should you concede.

No not a bad mulligan, when I mulligan all cards and I get exactly the same in return, from experience I know it is a lost cause, this particular game I am meant to loose. What you said I have tried, only to irritate myself. So I save the pain and time waisted, by just conceding :-)

At first I was going to make a poll but I figured that there might be more options then I could think. Thus maybe people could share their thoughts by comment, only mention the red line so not casual concedes.

My red line is mulligan, when I mulligan all 3 or 4 cards and get exactly the same cards then I know that the rng gods have made up their minds thus I concede, what is your concede mechanism?

posted a message on Should they add a "I dont want to grind to legend but still rank feature"
    Quote from Nefine1337 >>

Imagine if you are able to choose at the beginning of a season whether you want to be able to climb towards the rank of legend or if you want to just simply stop at DIamond 5. And your decision will be final for that season.

    Why implement such a feature?

Well apparently you are only able to enjoy the game on the rank of legend because player will only than start to play meme and fun decks.
Players who want to reach legend will most likely play cancerous decks.

Players who do not want to reach the rank of "pointless legend grind" will not have to play against cancerous decks since you will only be matched against players who chose the same as you.
Meaning, you play against the player base who actually want to play the game with meme and fun decks and not just brainless canerous board flooding decks that enable them to rank up fast to reach the "pointless legend grind" rank.

    Thoughts?

I do not agree, I just want to reach legend, maybe I like to achieve it and no meta or cancerous deck for me.

I play my homebrew big spell mage deck, it suprises the lot:

    ### Biggie Messenger

Hearthstone is not made for people who are driven bij ethics and the 'right thing to do'. As Blizzard aka T5 for the past 7 years did nothing against roping and never introduced an auto squelch for that matter, it is an intricate part of vulgarity attracting morality of developers themselves.

Hearthstone is a repulsiveness producing game equally made by people who are reprehensible themselves simply because it seems to sell more packs.

I understand you like to question the ethics of the developers, but if I'm understanding you correctly... you think that T5 is purposely not implementing features that would make the game better for the handful of people that want the feature... because they are evil. And they are spreading their evil through the game in doing so?

And this evil behaviour is actually helping them sell more packs? I guess I'm not following the logic behind that.

I think this is a matter of perspective. People roping intentionally could very well be a person continually analyzing the game to try and make better plays as they go. Much like many of the grandmasters, they rope almost every single turn, deciding what they are going to do and make the best play at the last moment they have. Sometimes even missing their last move because of time.

This may not be the case for everyone on ladder, but if people are doing it, it is their right, and we can't decide for them if they are doing it out of malice or their own need, because we can't see the other side of the screen.

This game is ruled by a very profound understanding of human psychology and the primordial human psyche. Enjoying the game means to annoy your opponent in every possible way. Game design facilitates.

So annoying bots are also a good thing then? Every game is only fun when there is a competetion and not when one annoys the other. Let's say a boxing match, there is no boxing because one of the contenders is playing time and running away all the time, or a football game where one of the team has so called injuries and playing on time. Yes they are allowed to but no it is not fun or nice.

I hate them, from 1 mana up to the rest roping is a cancer.

They just hope to win with concedes by irritating.

This is really bad, come on I don't have much playtime, wasting it with roping is everything beside fun. Maybe blizzard should make 2 version or 2 settings, 1 standard and 1 fast where you have nozdormu times or so (maybe bit slower than nozdormu but you get the point)

Sounds like you're letting them succeed, too.

As is repeatedly the case, here - there is literally nothing wrong with roping for any reason whatsoever, whether it's trying to to figure out your next turn, how to deal with what's on the board or simply trying to annoy your opponent into conceding. These are all legitimate and valid reasons to take your whole allotted turn.

You might as well get upset with people for playing cards you don't like or playing an aggro or combo deck etc.
The problem here isn't with them...

We found us a roper, congratulations. With football the referree will pul out a yellow card for wasting time. Wasting time intentionally to earn that tad bit of xp is just bad. Same like a mosquito sound when your trying to sleep, irritating.

posted a message on After a month

I decided to make a post, I truly loved this game. But a while ago (more then a month) while playing I realized that I was not having fun, let aside I was getting irritated and maybe even pissed.

Why was I getting irritated from a game that I loved? A game should be about satisfaction, even when you loose.

I think the main problem is that a lot of times that I won when I shouldnt have (no satisfaction in winning when you shouldnt) and that I lost when I should have win (irritation). I think this was better in the past? Maybe not? Maybe I changed and realized this only now.

Anyhow, a game should not piss me off, I already have got my wife to do that. And to be honest I dont know what the devs can do to fix it, is it the classes or the mmr or the imbalance. Maybe it is all together.

Does anyone else feel the same?

The replies are salt, not my opinion. Most likely priests, I hate it when a priest sees my 2x pyro and Naga. This means he or she will do anything to not get below 20, it immediatly kills a suprise otk because he or she has seen my hand. Same counts for any other card that has been seen, only a shuffle deck and secret passage counters it somewhat.

If it's a card from someone's hand they are after then just rng them a card from the hand, make the card 1 cost less I don't care, but don't show my hand.

If it was meant to be shown we would playing with the cards showing.

    Just my 2 cents.

PS: To the few who write STFU, FU, who do you think you are telling me what I can think or say, go to China where no opinions are wanted.
