    posted a message on Quest Shaman. Should I play it?

    According to HSReplay,  Quest Shaman is a low tier-2 deck, with bad matchups against most of the decks that are above him in the list.

    I think that's very misleading.  It's one of the most played decks right now which means that there are a lot playing this deck, who don't know yet how to play it, making its winrate lower than what actually is. I played Quest Shaman last season and easily reached legend once I learned how to play with it/what to mulligan(for example against paladin you need sandstorm elemental and lackeys to reach asap double battlecry hero power to clear their board, and you BogSlosher only this card in this matchup - against control warrior you try to do the quest with draw cards and have Barista Lynchen on lackey generator cards ,or burn cards to apply pressure wave after wave). This season I am trying to reach legend with Rogue, it's more probable to uninstall HS than doing it :P

    I lost also to a turn 2 Zephrys-turn 3 animal companion, turn 4 Shaw, turn 5 Zilliax, turn 6 Wyvern , turn 7 Bran. This class is OP, nerf it.

     

    JK, meta is great in my opinion right now, the only deck that Ι consistently consider braindead is murloc Paladin(also I can't understand why Blizzard seems to like reviving dead archetypes from the past that no one asked for as well)

    The problem is the structure of Warrior at the moment. Bomb Warrior is supposed to be a cycle through your resources fast/shuffle bombs in your opponent deck and if he/she draws them , he loses, if not, or he has unlimited healing, you lose.     With the exception of Highlander Hunter, none of the other Highlander decks is very good, so the counter-argument that Bomb warrior counters these decks if funny at least. Maybe the OP was triggered because of his opinion of this deck not being funny, not because it's super powerful, which is not the case obviously , LOL

    @OP, I have made various versions of Control Shaman with Omega Mind + Bog Slosher. Bomb warrior can shuffle his soul, his mech deities, and Cthulhu along with bombs in my deck, I don't care, they simply lose to the RENO(and Bigger) levels of healing of Omega Mind(2 times) with  Hagatha's or Earthquake.

    LOL to all the people thinking that Warrior will not be affected by the changes.

    Dr Boom + shield slam is now a turn 10 play. 

    Dr Boring + mechs having rush is now a (from turn 10 play)

    Dr Boom + Hero power on the same turn no longer available(to gain 7 armor or discover a mech that has rush the following turn)

    Dr Boom kept on Mulligan, no longer a play. From statistics gathered in various sites, CW was keeping a 7 mana card on his opening card (which is ridiculously stupid in my opinion but proves how strong was the card to be kept in a game were tempo is everything-after rng. The gain of 7 armor on turn 7 + mechs having rush from turn 8, was more than strong enough to overcome the tempo loss on playing a card with no effect on board).

     I want a hearthstone, where I can play other Control decks that have A possibility to win against control warrior. Almost any other control decks auto-loses now. With the exception of Quest Paladin which is a control deck that farms Control Warrior. 

    What is kind of bad in my opinion right now is that the combo decks are non-existent, which would win Control Warrior. CW does its job to keep the aggro decks under control(the other control decks should be able to do so, but are not played because it's unfair going against CW ) but there are less than 3 deck archetypes(dragon/cyclone mage, Quest Paladin) that keep him in control.

    Having a win rate of almost 60% is absurd and unhealthy. 

    If you can't understand these simple facts, you are either a CW fanboy or just care about aggro decks not being dominant.

     

    I just noticed the comment about Mages. Hilarious , at least, coming from someone who plays a deck that just removes stuff of the opponent by playing 5! AOEs, 6-7 single target removals, so does NOTHING but stales the game until opponent runs out of steam, while they have Dr Boring and Omega Broken Assembly. 1 card for gaining 3 in hand, tell me one that does the same with 1 mana. SOOOO sir, your arguments are ...at least BS :)

     Come on man, it's just the first week

     That's because everyone plays Control Warrior with Armagedillo and taunts and no surprise, it boosted their win rates/ However as someone mentioned, there are archetypes that counter it(Pogo rogue). Also Paladin quest crushes it, and rogue does well against quest paladin. So if more quest paladins appear to crush the warriors(75% win rate against control warrior lol) , the rogue will rise . THat's the cycle of life.

     

    P.s I played last night a homebrew Highkeeper Ra. Went 4-3 with it at rank 5, but faced only 2 warriors which I crushed thaaat hard that I enjoyed it. If you summon Ra, and shuffle 2-3 copies, they are dead :) (which i did pretty easily )

    I tried the same combo, with Pirate package & Lackeys and Myra's. If you have Myra's at any point of the game, it's auto win against control warrior(and I guess other heavy control decks). I shuffled copies of Highkeeper Ra in the deck so they couldn't copy with it. 2/2 against them pretty easily. The problem is against faster/aggro decks. Token druid  just stomped me to the ground. even the pirate/lackey package doesn't seem to copy that well.  I will try and modify it today  and test it again

    .......Are you all fanboys or hard trolling each other?It's almost the same Disgusting Overpowered Cyclone Mage that Blizzard is rumoured(and this info has been leaked by a lot of "pro players" ) that is gonna nerf it. Hurray, some people here invented the wheel by changing 4-5 cards in the best deck in HS right now

    I was thinking the same....

     

    Then I started playing Quest Paladin(it has 70%+  win rate against Control Warriors, you basically beg to face them).

    And , surprise surprise. Mogu Cultist Rogue( I made  a Captain Hooktusk with Lackeys version, so no one even remotely suspects that I keep some bad CULTIST boys in my hand). played against 2, farmed them so hard(I shuffled 4 and 5 Highkeeper Ra In my deck these 2 games).

    If they manage to kill the first, you just summon the 2nd(you must have emptied your deck with Myra's). None of the 2 warriors could handle the 2nd. Well if they managed, I had a 3rd(and we are talking about 20 dmg to face, and board clear, no matter what they do, at the end of your turn)

    Shaman: lighting storm  + Thalnos kills everything 100%

    Warrior, ok, where should I start about the removals.

    Rogue. ok if you play Rogue, you have a problem there, I agree.

    Warlock: If you play zoo , Pala is probably dead by turn 5 if he decides to Prismatic Lens and lose the tempo of his life in Turn 4(no taunt murloc )
