I've got there twice when I had more time on my hands, these days I just hover around Rank 5-3. Hit Rank 1 a few times before that, but I get pretty lazy at the end of the month.

Like an Evolve...only much more expensive, and much more unpredictable (if that was possible).

Seems unlikely two copies of this will be run in any Druid deck.

Question is, why did they decide the class with the best card draw in the game, by far, now needed some specific target draw? Malygos and Togwaggle Druids already get their combo going much quicker than any other OTK deck.

Looks awesome, but I am worried about a tempo style card giving you zero tempo on the turn it's played.

I would have preferred if it summoned a generic vanilla 3/3 mech with it's battlecry (which would also have rush due to the effect), so you don't feel like you're completely skipping a turn.

We will have to wait and see some more card reveals to determine if Mech Warrior will be a thing. I remember Mech Warrior was playable back in the GvG days, it was only slightly behind Mech Mage, it was still an Aggro style deck with Mortal Strike Arcanite Reaper ect. This is certainly not an Aggro card.

9.4k gold, I normally start saving for the next expansion a few days after the release of the current expansion.

I'm a bit lacking in the dust department, with 5.4k, but the two golden legendaries from pre-orders and opening 230-240 packs on day 1 should make up for that.

It's certainly not a meta-defining defining card...you won't be getting to legend or winning any tournaments.

And yet, it's the best card they have created.

When I introduce friends to the game, I'll advise them to craft this guy as their first goal. Only after that, will I suggest some budget decks of basics/commons and a few rares.

In the past, Blizzard's premade decks have been pretty bad, but they have got better in recent expansions. Looking at some of them now, there's Even Paladin, Spell Hunter, Control Warlock, Elemental Mage, OTK Priest - all decent decks.

A relatively new player with a little bit of sense should be able to play these to Rank 10.

I might craft him golden...then again, I'm the sort of despicable individual who has two golden Renounce Darkness. I love that some people get upset by that.

However, having played a lot of WoW in my day, Blizzard has a tendancy to bring things back from the past obtainable through new methods, often easier than they were before (although in this case, I don't know how they could make them easier to obtain than hitting Rank 20). Examples are with the old Vanilla PvP titles, or rare unobtainable items being put into the Black Market Auctionhouse.

My personal annoyance was them nerfing Conqueror/Justicar battleground reputations, after 7 years in their previous state. What's the point of doing it after all that time? Plenty of people had earned it by then, so doing that is just stepping on the toes of anyone who got it legitimately.

But I'm sure most people here haven't played WoW and have no idea what I'm talking about.

My point is, I don't mind how easy or difficult they make something to begin with, just don't then change it later on down the line. They could make it so every monthly cardback from August 2018 and beyond will be obtainable in subsequent months, I'd be fine with that. But don't go around and bring the old stuff back when they are already consigned to history, it will only annoy people and won't satisfy many.

I normally open around 200-300 at on the release day of an expansion.

The first 20 packs or so, I'll take my time, then I'm like "fuck it, just want to rip all these open and play with the cards already".

From my experience, I usually get one golden legendary and about 6-8k in duplicate dust.

Glad England vs Sweden is done, I was more worried about them than Colombia or Croatia. Even if they're not the greatest team out there, we've had a pretty bad record against them and they tend to do us in more often than not.

I don't think Croatia have been very impressive in their games against Denmark and Russia, but they did great in the group stages, so we'll see on Wednesday. Despite One_Man_Army's frankly moronic comment, this is knockout stage football and nothing is granted.

Probably my favourite game so far was Japan vs Belgium, catching the Belgies with their pants down to go 2-0 up. So gutted for them that they didn't go further, they've always played fairly and stick to their plan.

After the game, the Japanese fans went around the stadium to tidy up rubbish, and the Japanese players left a note in their changing rooms saying "thank you" in Russian.

You're not serious.

Colombia had 3 potential reds, 2 if we're being generous. They're lucky they had a sympathetic referee. Perhaps they can stick to Rugby if they're not up for playing Football, they're great at grappling a player just trying to play an honest game.

I expect the Swedes will play with more dignity, the American teams have been a universal embarrassment to the game of Football.

Genuinely happy for Gareth Southgate, he's the best manager we've had in decades and now he's had a little bit of redemption to win a penalty shootout after his miss in Euros 1996.

It's the most enjoyable World Cup I've seen in my lifetime, so many surprises and upsets. Germany, Spain, Argentina and Portugal are out. Germany and Italy have always been our bogey teams...now our path is clear.

Next game is against Sweden, after that would be against Croatia/Russia. Then it's the final. I won't underestimate our opponents as nothing is sure at this stage, they've done a great job to come this far. Although I really believe we have a good chance to go all the way.

Hate to be "that guy" but getting to Rank 7 to Legend in less than a day, when you've never been there before, is incredibly unlikely. Most streamers take a few days to go from Rank 4 to Legend at the start of the season, and these are people who play Hearthstone for a living and grind Legend month after month.

To put it into perspective, getting from 5 to Legend usually takes longer to than rank 25 to 5, as you can no longer rely on winstreaks.

A more realistic goal is to get to Rank 6 today, begin at Rank 10 tomorrow after the reset and hit the ground running. Play something with quick wins/losses.

During the first week of an expansion, I'll usually hit the 100g cap. But that's not a grind, I get there unintentionally while extensively testing new decks.

A pack has the value of £1 (if you buy 60 in bulk), I'm not that hard done by that I have to spend 4 hours of my life grinding £1.
