Ysera is the safe option, removals are rare in arena. Although it could be pretty amusing if you pick Patches but don't get any pirates, hope you like Stonetusk Boar!
It would be good if they simply let us choose which minion gets buffed with the single target handbuff effects. It's a pain in the arse to try setting up any kind of combo when it's completely random. Goons would be probably still be a bit behind the Kabal and Jades but it would be much more viable than it is currently.
Worst: when I started to play HS I pulled a Ragnaros the Firelord in one of my first few packs. Saw the 'can't attack' part and thought he was useless so I dusted him to craft 4 rares which will never see the light of day again. Luckily I pulled him again a few weeks later, so I think the Hearthstone gods haven forgiven me for that act of foolishness.
Best: tough one, but I'd say Tirion Fordring in general. Incredibly good value card, it's a good thing he's not neutral as he'd be in nigh every deck. Admittedly Paladins aren't in the best place at the minute, but they will shine again.
I rarely play Aggro, but I can understand why people do.
Time.
It's a lot less questionable than the Reno Mages and Priests who keep a game going for 20 mins+ while topdecking as their opponent is at or near 30 HP. What's the game plan there?

Majordomo Executus, playing as Ragnaros with all his emotes is brilliant. Shame that you die the turn after. TOO SOON!

I find myself in a similar position, I'd be interested to see how it goes for you. :) Only half way through the month, plenty of time left!
