posted a message on Is this the worse meta you’ve seen?

As always, it depends. If any of decks that you like to play is good, then you'll like the meta. If not, then you won't, it's simple as that. Personally I don't like it since I play Warlock almost exclusively and he sucks now (he's probably worst since beta).

Of course, but if you consider that this card can sometimes swing match from lose to win, I'd say it's still worth it. Also, unlike for example big priest from the past, based heavily on early Barnes, It's not like the whole deck is built around just one card. While Box can help in certain situations, spell mage can still perform pretty well even without it. It's the icing on the cake in this deck.

" It doesn't heavily favour the user. This is you refusing to think rationally and using your own bias to keep justifying the resentment you feel."
No, it's my experience from playing the deck. After around 30-40 games I can tell, that 6/10 uses of Box favors me. It's not always to the "win the game instantly" level, but most of the time I was happy with the result.
"Oh and please show these games where you can't use any minions for 7-8 turns straight."
Like how? I'm not the streamer nor youtuber. You can find some games from other people on the internet:
"If it's so great, go play a spell focussed mage for 50 games and pop the box at every chance you get"
It's exactly what I usually do, especially if I can cheat it for less mana. Maybe except situations where I'm in really good spot with lethal in my hand in next turn or something like that.
"Better yet, why don't you do that and record the spells cast every time and then come back and have at least some data to back up your claim?"
    Record How?
"Box varies from good, to bad, to meh. I never use it whilst ahead because it's burned me too many times."
That happens sometimes too, but in my experience it's like 4 out of 10 times.
"You Joan about the RNG of box but as an opponent that's better than the consistently powerful things other decks and cards can do"
No it's not. Even powerful things can be played around, RNG cannot.
"The fact that your crying about a purely random card"
Who's crying? I'm certainly not, so maybe you should wipe your own tears of bias?
"how little power level they have in their own class cards. Mage has no galakrond, no charge, no healing, limited tempo or early game cards."
And who said that mage is too strong or OP? Yes, he is ruining the Hearthstone because of stupid RNG, but it has nothing to do with power level. It simply crushes player experience and suck all of his enjoyment of the game (it's only fun for the mage player).
"If you're consistently losing to box then you're just a bad player"
I never said so, but you are making yet another unsupported assumption, because everything must match your point of view? How pathetic of you...

Entire RNG spell mage is disgrace for Hearthstone and it represents game at it's worst. Since HS doesn't have many ways to interact with opponent's spells or battlecry effects, whole matchup feels uninteractive, frustrating and boring (inability to use any of your minions for like 7-8 turns straight isn't uncommon thing due to constant stream of stales and removals). Box is just nail in the coffin for your sanity.

Also, Yogg-Saron, Hope's End actually felt much more random and you never wanted to play it, when you were ahead (because it could backfire). Box on the other hand, seems to heavily favor it's user, so it can be played just for tempo, especially if you can cheat it out for less mana.

Resurrection. Huge mana cheating turned into game mechanic. There's nothing to it, aside from "get some semi-random value for fraction of it's real cost".

You only forgot to mention, that it's unfavored heavily against most popular decks in the meta.

Nerfs? I'd say no, but Warlock desperately needs buffs! He's the worst class in standard now and his best deck - which is Malygos Quest Lock - is bottom of T3. To be honest It's exactly what I predicted. Zoo Lock was mediocre at best before Imp nerf, now it's pure garbage (bottom of T4, one of the worst decks in the meta) but people were downvoting me for saying so and they were praising Blizzard for "accurate nerf"...

By the way guys, if you think RNG is okay, watch Pavel vs Rdu game 2.

Exactly! Anyone who - after seeing this - says that RNG in the HS is okay, is out of his mind.

For the reference, game starts at 20:30.

May cause gagging, watch at your own risk!

Poorly balanced brawl. Some classes are ridiculously powerful (one Priest had 3x Ragnaros on turn 4, wtf?) while others are super trash (Druid is Blizzard's joke or what?). At least you have a choice, so it's not that bad.

Exactly, I was referring to that card. You don't see it that often nowadays, but when you do, it's still annoying and feels unfair.

To be honest, I don't think they care much about player experience, they never did.
