Quote from ZagniefMaster >>Librams can't cost less that 1;
Pen Flinger makes temporary copies that perish after turn end (like Echo);
Oh My Yogg! now procs only on spells that cost 3 or less.
Libram of Hope summon stats now equal to spell manacost
Theres a difference between small nerfs to help balance a class and just destroying an archetype because you lost to it. Just hit penflinger and maybe drop the durability of the weapon. No need to destroy librams.

A couple of things.
1. If you’re talking about ranked, there’s zero room to complain. It’s the competitive portion of the game, there’s a casual mode for a reason.
2. People need to get over net decking. It’s been around in every card game, ever, and always will be. Also, a streamer doing something on stream doesn’t give them exclusive rights to a deck. People always act like 99% of players’ control locks wouldn’t be 90% the same anyways. Most of the cards played are just obviously good in it.

Remember the day1 Secret Paladin meta?
Or the quest rogue meta?
Or the Undertaker meta?
Or...
This has always been the case. Unless you managed to get yourself to a rank like low legend, or you stayed in gold 10 or so, people are going to play only what they see on streams.

More than 9 game modes would be too confusing for new players.

The initiate set was essentially to give Demon Hunter more tools at the start of year of the phoenix since the other classes all had an entire year of standard support during year of the dragon. Since the initiate set was basically just to help alleviate the problem of Demon Hunter not having enough cards, and now that it's had a year of support, leaving it in would essentially give Demon Hunter more support than other classes.

The card is giong to be changed. The old variant will no longer exist. If you have it from GvG, that/those copies will become one mana.
This is significantly different to the dragon aspects, who get new cards, with the old ones remaining the same (with the exception of Ysera, who is the same except she uses the new pool of changed dream cards, even old Ysera who will still exist).
So when the change hits, there will be zero stonetusk boars with charge anywhere except the classic format.

So the goal of the pruning was to drop cards that went face? To make the game more minion-focused then - and maybe games less super quick with aggro?
But cards like Blizzard went away too - lot of freeze cards so I guess they don't want that anymore?
It seems like the goal is to get rid of non interactive design space. It isn't fun to play when your opponent stops you from doing anything or wins without interacting with you.

All classes lost 'iconic'cards. Hunter players are going to be crying they lost animal companion, eaglehorn bow and kill command. Hopefully it's all for the good of the game though rather than keeping individual class players happy. Not sure how rogue kept both step and backstab though...

Is it a smart idea to craft necessary cards for today's meta even if this will rotate in a few months?

Go standard, face DHs and rez priest instead. Freshen up.

They will not. It does give a certain feeling of a push through ranks when you are lower level player, but it will not stop players from making mistakes in the first place.
Once MMR settles out, and stars are given out everywhere, most "bad" players will be stuck between a couple of rank floors until some of them "finally" pass into another one.
Also, there is no star bonus after a certain rank.

This works as intended. System logs which cards have been opened first and second time. After that, even if you disenchant them, system still has them logged as "opened".
This is implemented in order to prevent abuse in case of nerfs :)

I've been holding onto my dust for a month now, it seems that I will probably continue until April rotation.
2
Instead of adding new cards into the pool after certain ones have been HoF'ed, why don't they just choose from already present cards from old expansions and add them into the classic pool, at least for a recent year, and maybe keep that as a common practice?
1
That's not what the text said. :)

They are not owned by Curse anymore, and the website has been transferred to another company. It is not dead yet, unlike the game.
2
Because it is the same with every expansion all over again. Damn boring.
