Of the different kinds of brawls you have preconstructed, RNG constructed, standard only brawls, and pve. I would say far more often than not you can’t use wild cards. Tough it out kid, you can eek 1 win out this week. I promise you.
Hoping this isn’t some sort of violation but out of.cards site had a wonderful article the other day about some of the logic Zyph uses and how to get the most out of him. Highlights include not taking cards in hand into account when calculating lethal. Example given was your opponent has 12 life and you have Zyph and a fireball in hand. A second fireball would be lethal. However if you play Zyph first you’ll likely get a big minion, board clear, or a pyroblast. But if you play your fireball in hand BEFORE Zyph you get the second lethal fireball. Check it out for tips.
Well, slightly necro thread but this is a good time to make a point... SoU has added a lot of new viable decks to wild. It also supplied a few tech cards for old decks. I’ve been playing more wild than standard in the last month.
Hell the guy who raised this deck from the grave complained it felt stale last month but now it’s completely different meta.
Real unpopular opinion... Warriors need a buff! Dr. Boom should be 1 mana and in your opening hand. Brawl should always let your minion be the one that survives. The Beatles were hacks.
I will even narrow it down and say these salty sheep either play Quest Rogue or Quest Shaman which are weak against CW. Meta deckers all the way.
Maybe it’s the style of deck but my quest shaman has about 55% wr against control. I play super aggressive and normally use some lackey/wasp/lifedrinker double battlecry to finish them off over taunts. And of course shudderwock is another potential finisher.
Old decks still work, especially when people learn to pilot new cards and innovate new decks?! By God! This never happens the first few weeks of every expansion! Next thing you’ll tell me that aggro decks had a great win rate on day 1 of the expansion drop?!
It’s one of the most versatile to build around. Lumping every quest shaman in one deck is a terrible way to track it. Personally my lackey zoo is my most successful. Control hasn’t been great but there’s a lot to refine I think. Going to tech around the meta soon and retry. Try different builds, but if you can’t win against anything it might be playing poorly in a new meta.
I think the term is older than highlander. Someone can correct me since my knowledge on this is like 10-12 years old but I think Singleton was a Magic format back in the day. Highlander is the newer term.
Remember when everyone was on how OP the hunter quest in Un’Guro was? Day 1 quest for the power gamer, going to completely shape the meta? Call for nerfs before it was even released? All I’m saying here is everyone’s theorycrafting goes the hell out the window compared to a live expansion.
My prediction, I think it will be pretty strong but you’ll be thanking Blizzard it’s there because it will keep warriors in check.
I think Mecathun Rogue will be one of those decks that may end up like Gonk did. It seems super strong at first but it feels like it may need some high rolling / good rng to really be consistent.
Might be a flash in the pan deck, or might stick around like the priest one did for a while. Will have to wait and see.
One thing to be wary of is getting stuck with Saps in your hand if your opponent cottons on and just concentrates on removing any threats you play instead.
Did anyone think Gonk was going to be strong? He seemed fun, had a wacky combo, but I don't recall anyone thinking he would be anything close to top tier.

Some very viable tier 2 decks like murloc shaman are out there, but more to the point why is aggro for once not being tier S or 1 a bad thing?

Nope, but as the quest mechanic in game is a huge subject you might want to change that to ‘Dailies’.

Questing explorer is amazing in zoo. Solid stats and card draw. Tried it in control and it’s bad there.

You’ve inspired me! I too will uninstall! Thank God for companies like EA that treat consumers right!
