True and correct. Definitly one good ideas of game. Yogg monster sometime is very too strong and we need good counter card to counter all yogg monster spells. Maybe 7 crystal minion card.

I just opened Rin, and had to try a control lock. This deck is so much more fun than cubelock, and it feels a whole let less cheesy. I like decks that perform reasonably well in all match ups.. its weak against certain decks sure.. but every game is winnable with this deck.. Currently rank 4.. might use this for the legend climb this month

There should be a third mode in addition to standard and wild that uses select sets from both.. and changes every season.. like this season it’s... classic set.. black rock mountain.. and un goro.. then next month is grand tournament.. knights of the frozen throne.. and whispers of the old gods..
the constantly rotating sets, and small card pool forces players to use less common cards, and will make for a different meta every month

Based on your collection.. I am assuming you are just getting started.. my advice still stands.. I wouldn't get to disenchant happy right now.. Look at a lot of the decks with "F2P" in the description.. These are low dust cost decks that can still perform reasonably well.. There are nerfs coming next month, as well as another expansion on the horizon..
That expansion will rotate out whispers of the old gods, one night in karazhan, and mean streets of gadgetzan.. so you should NOT craft any of those cards, or buy any packs.. I would just play with what you have until the new expansion and go from there..
Make sure you do all your daily quests.. if you play every day, dont complete any 40 gold quests if you can help it.. try to focus on 50g quests and up.. If you get the 80g play a friend quest.. use the find a friend message board thread and post there.. youll end up with 160g for one quest..
It can be really frustrating at first getting started.. but there are some changed coming to the ladder system starting in march too.. It should be a lot easier at the lower ranks.. you wont be flooded with people that have outrageous decks..
You could just dust everything, and craft one really good deck.. but I dont recommend that at all.. The meta is going to be shifting a lot in the near future.. and you would be wasting dust on a deck that might not be good anymore.
TL;DR.. just be patient

rule#1... don't worry about "today's meta".. so many cards are not played.. but have potential to be good.. once a new set releases.. If you are lacking a big collection right now, don't jump the gun and DE something you might regret down the road...
Only DE cards that are just objectively bad.. and will likely never be good for anything... Give me a minute, and ill take a look

About the nerfs.. i agree that cubelock is going to be a problem. I also think they have a pesky habit of nerfing cards to oblivion.. a card is a problem, so they drop such a ridiculous nerf, just to ensure that it is unplayable..
An example would be to make raza read that it makes your "current" hero power cost 0.. that why highlander priest requires you to drop shadowreaper first.. the deck can still exist, but it would be weakened significantly.. raza on curve is just crazy in this deck.. the free heal is an underrated part of the decks construction.. allowing you to trade favorably, and maintain control while you wait for the combo. Instead the nerf just kills the entire deck.. this alternate change would significantly reduce the decks power level, but still make it available to keep cubelocks from taking over. (I am not a highlander priest apologist... I find playing against them annoying as hell.. but sometimes a necessary evil.. I promise you... a cubelock meta will be far more annoying than a raza priest meta)
The remaining cards could have been nerfed similarly.. to reduce their power level, so they are no longer an auto-include.. but still playable.. Bonemare is the only exception.. at 8 mana it could still see some fringe play.. and in arena, 8 mana bonemare is still premium

I don’t hate that these cards got nerfed.. it makes sense.. but I’m sort of sad about raza.. I’m not a highlander priest apologist by any means, but I played raza before shadow reaper anduin was a card.. and it was fairly balanced back then.. I get it though

How is this deck not meta.. I am having insane success with it.. I don’t have twig of the world tree.. and I’m not convinced medivh is ok with only two spells, so I threw in two vicious fledgelings.. and I’m killing it at ranks 5-1

Every single meta people say it’s the worst meta ever. This community complains way too much
