I was thinking shudderwock shaman.. there are some really high value spells in the deck that can be abused.. particularly volcano against warlocks and taunt druid.. double far sight is also pretty dope
Depends on what other mech cards get printed.. the fact that deathrattle hunter is viable these days makes it promising. A mech/deathrattle hunter could be cool, but only if the right cards come with the expansion.. So this particular card is too early to judge
I'm not particularly excited for this card per se.. but excited for the omega mechanic.. there is so much to be said for a card that is useful early/mid-game.. but also powerful late.
And depending on what other omega cards we get, we could see and omega ramp druid become a thing. The lower mana cost means you could play several omega cards in one turn after a quick ramp to 10.. very interesting.
druid gets to 10 mana now.. really really really fast.. there's no other class that benefits more from being at 10 mana..
This is true.. depending on what other neutral or druid class omega cards get revealed.. we could easily see an "omega ramp druid" .. the low cost of these cards means you can play several in one turn, as opposed to just ramping and dropping one big threat
its an incredibly powerful card in a vacuum.. but the meta will determine if its actually worth playing.. its got me excited for the other omega card reveals.. something that is a good draw early/mid game, but not a dead draw late.. there are lots of possibilities for awesome cards
This could be a really neat set. I'm psyched by what I see so far.
We'll have to see how Magnetic works. Putting pants on minions is often a less effective way of using cards, but there have been things like Spikeridge which are totally worth it.
I think its really going to all depend on if mech decks are good in the meta. Sure youre susceptible to silence and polymorph effects.. but it could work.. look at it like a 3 mana spell that reads: "Give a mech +2/+2 and deathrattle destroy a random enemy minion".. in a mech heavy temp deck, that sounds very playable.. and you have the added flexibility of playing it on its own.
Like with any expansion though.. we need to see more. It seems like a decent mechanic.. but if mech decks arent good enough, then all the magnetic cards will be useless. I would think that a mech themed expansion would make for some decent mech decks, but un goro introduced elementals, and those decks have been sub par at best.. well see
It’s not really about making him stick.. If he sticks you’ll probably win, but you’re soaking up 8 damage, and often forcing your opponent to make suboptimal plays to remove him.. and you get a powerful card that can oftentimes just win you the game.
The forcing your opponent to make suboptimal plays can not be understated. I think that’s part of why it’s such a great card
what happens to your arena deck after taverns of time ends? Will it be retired and you get a token like when it started? Merely retired, or will you get to keep your deck like when people where still playing wild decks when it went to standard only

Hmm.. Only a handful of cards, but this already seems like its going to be a high power level expansion, especially coming of witchwood.

Maybe in wild, but there just isn't enough support in standard

If you don’t say Millhouse Manastorm, do you even know how to hearthstone?
