well...I've just skimmed over the entry screen, assumed it was a regular Brawliseum or whatever it's called, made a regular ranked deck and proceeded to concede to someone who actually read the rules >.<

lordmanda2 posted a message on Uther of the Ebon BladePosted in: Uther of the Ebon BladeWith the advent of Rastakhan's Rumble, I think Uther of the Ebon Blade becomes quite a bit stronger when used with High Priest Thekal. Not only does he give 5 armor ontop of what Thekal gives, but Uther's weapon has such massive life-drain that he gives the player a TON of extra health. It's also an easy way to meet the requirements for Zandalari Templar and the Pearl Spellstones.

Trollbert posted a message on Decks Assemble is This Week's Tavern Brawl!Posted in: NewsI see this one is very divisive here. Some love it, others hate it. I'm in the love category. It creates some of the most interesting matchups in the game. Trying to piece together synergies, guesstimating the chances of drawing the X card you have discovered, early game decisions of weak card I can play that will be junk later (but gain current tempo) vs. strong late game card that will be dead until late game.
My most fun match so far involved picking Shudderwok on my first turn. From there I had to piece together a deck to make him work. About 15 turns in I wasn't looking so hot but finally got to play him and it swung the game.
Fun brawl for me, one of my favorites. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

You would need a mechanism to refresh the hero power in a turn. But it does mean you’ll use the hero power every turn, effectively for free, once you have 2 mana.
