Just straight up deleting a game that a good amount of people must have spent tens if not hundreds of dollars on even though you're a billion dollar company with plenty of resources to keep it running. This shit would have been un-imaginable 20 years ago.

Suikiele posted a message on Wild Summit at Blizzard about Wild Format Balance - Balance Changes Soon?Posted in: NewsSmall upvote/downvote poll for Wild players: Thoughts on increasing base health for the format to 40 / 50? Increased power level is much more tolerable when you just inflate the player's ability to soak a little more damage (like Renethal offered before his unfortunate nerf).

Legend_Entomber posted a message on New Warrior Legendary Card Revealed - Lady AshvanePosted in: NewsSuch boring design, it looks bad but even if gets support and becomes good, Weapon Warrior sounds like very uninteractive and most likely an Aggro deck (no way Control/Midrange would like this without having an Armor gain after using all these weapon attks...)
Weapon Poison Rogue is already uninteractive, Weapon Warrior doesn't sound any much better...

Wilsbourne posted a message on New Hunter Legendary Card Revealed - Raj Naz'janPosted in: NewsI usually don't like to complain and spew negativity of any kind on these reveals. I love card reveal season and I enjoy looking at the new cards and looking forward to a cool new meta.
..But this looks absolutely ridiculous. How could this possibly NOT be broken? Why does hunter get to have this amount of burst damage from hand? This just looks unacceptable to me. If it turns out to be as broken as it looks, I hope it's very quickly nerfed. This just looks like a meta ruining card.
A minion with this effect should be at least 4 or 5 mana. Easily. 2 mana? I just... I can't believe this.

xskarma posted a message on Expansion Announcement Postponed Till Thursday The 17thPosted in: NewsYeah, ABOUT THAT.
I didn't really register it, but check out what happened shortly after Blizz made this announcement.
https://twitter.com/Songbird_HS/status/1503463889907826689
SongbirdHS is Cora, who;s on the Initial Design team for Hearthstone and the person above her in this twitter thread is Chakki, who is ALSO a designer on the Hearthstone team (I believe he is in Final Design though).
They seem to kind of tacitly admit that Reno is part of the upcoming cards, whether new or Core Set changes.
So not sure if this is just me reading too much into that, but it's HIGHLY suspicious, and relevant to what you said. -

FortyDust posted a message on Hearthstone Fractured in Alterac Valley Decks - The Best New Decks for the Expansion!Posted in: NewsNothing counters all questlines as a blanket hate-tech card, but there are strategies that can defeat them individually.
I think the meta will be a lot more "normal" in the sense that each archetype will have a variety of good and bad match-ups. You should never expect to steamroll all other decks just because you're playing control, but that doesn't mean control isn't viable.

Isnt cutting the 3/3 weapon that draws on kill a crime, and a great reason to play corsair cache after all?
(I switched to Commencement Warrior and am also having good results, seems Warrior is in a nice spot right now after the round of nerfs. That weapon is carrying me quite hard though; Also played a somewhat thicker than usual menagerie last set and it was already quite good then, largely because the amount of taunts is great against weapon-based decks, good to see its still working, will give it a whirl soon!)

Sorry to say but RegisKillbin really brings down the level of the reveal streams in my opinion - he's a pretty bad player that overhypes stuff to the point of making mistakes, never asks critical questions and those he poses are overprepared. Not at all what i like to listen to personally.
Liv Breeden was nice though, and i gotta admit Chris Sierra is becoming a really good professional as well.

Yeah i dont really like these weapon damage combo decks, be it rogue, demon hunter or warrior. So little counterplay, all you can really do seems to be outliving them with taunts, or very maybe with weapon removal. Its fresh, sure, but its also quite unfun to have so few ways to interact. For me its the thing that made demon hunter fail as a new class as of yet. Hopefully the new deathrattle support finally brings an interesting DH build to the table.

I agree, used to watch a lot of Vintage Super League back when that was a thing for magic - the best seasons were the ones with a fresh restricted/ban list.

the smaller pack gives access as well

Reckless Flurry vs minion decks, Wrenchcalibur vs combo/mill

Im guessing its the "unfun" aspect of the card mostly, not exactly its power level. It's the first sort of Mindslaver for Hearthstone. Magic taught us a lot about things being unfun to the other player while being fun for the one in control - land destruction, random discard, endless cheap counterspells, uninteractable combos and of course stealing your opponents stuff (whole turns no less) are all things that have seen their cost raised, occurrence lowered or have disappeared altogether from the game.
I've just crafted mine a few days ago, and am planning on still feeling some of that addictive powerplaying your opponents deck / running him out of options to play his game, but i know better that this can be really unfun for the other side. While such strategies should be playable as a theorycraft they should not be too competitive. That way the player that likes unfun control can still feel it somehow and actually be greeted by appreciation because its such an uncommon appearance to work.

fully agree with Kibler - rotating cards in and out feels much better than seeing all your favorite cards from the past be nerfed one by one. It's also not the boring power packed ones like Savannah Highmane, its the creative ones that allow decks to separate themselves from one another - Coldlight Oracle, Molten Giant, Warsong Commander. Give it a year or two and Doomsayer and Acolyte of Pain are gone too and we're left with a bunch of vanilla 3/2s. Just rotate them in and out - keep the game fresh and allow as much familiarity as possible in wild.

prolly to not have to remove comments or downvotes. don't you guys all have clocks?

don't think the overkill will trigger with how Deadly Arsenal is worded, else it would be a really nice one indeed
