There's something bad about a meta that if you get even a little bit unlucky it's over. I understand a bit why they feel the need to make every hero and class more and more powerful, but they are skating a bad line.
It kind of reminds me of arena, it was great before when you could draft badly but still make the most out of a bad situation, that is long past as the bucket system ensures everyone has a constructed level deck.
Not quite the same situation, but I doubt we'll see battlegrounds go the opposite way, it will probably get progressively worse. There's a lot of lines that are pointless to go down because they get out scaled early.
True, it often feels like the game is decided very early, purely by RNG. If you don't have any power house by turn 7, while other players do, you're done, because they will grow from now on (every single turn), and you will fall behind more and more.

Perhaps less toxic now that you are doing other things.
Am I wrong to wonder why it they couldn't have nerfed Pillager rogue and Quest Mage a year ago? Or why Demon hunter had to be nerfed 13 times on release?
The curation of this game is curious at times.

Beast with deathrattle should not produce ghastcoiler.
We are back to infinite loops of deathrattles in Battlegrounds if someone is Tier 6.

Half of cards played in Wild seem to be cards from within last 2 years due to power creep.
Like above said, Wild packs are really bad. Go much outside of Loetheb and Reno Jackson, older cards don't measure up at all.

Thanks for your scrub advice. I've been at 11800 MMR before.
If I need advice from a worse player, I'll be sure to ask you.

This meta sucks but is playable.
It sucks because there is no consistency.
I have 8 mana, get slammed by someone who somehow has a board from 2 turns in the future.
You get a triple, it is nothing special, run into guy with board full of win the game units plus a cherry Tier 6.
And because some weeney just died instead of 15, you get hit for 28.
Because some of 5's and 6's are OP especially with synergy, it doesn't particular matter what you do if you don't get one.
This is one of the worst metas that still has a level of playability. It is playable.
But the lack of agency is annoying. If you refresh 5 times and keep whiffing, you are going to die because the lack of development has crippled your board. It is also astonishing the number of game I never get a triple.
Quests were great, they gave you a 2nd way to develop.
Now we are back to Bob's whims having full control over your game.

George The Fallen's hero power is not particularly special in this meta, since multiple quest rewards can do about the same.
The obvious one is the +4/+4 divine shield one.
The two non-obvious ones are helpful refreshes (which occasionally does a divine shield re-roll and I think they are buffed too) and the Yogg one which occasionally gives you the "give a minion divine shield" Darkmoon faire card.
And Vashj hero is basically a better George the Fallen, at 5 mana if can give a minion divine shield permanently with the naga once per turn, so same end result as George but she can also buff minions permanently too.

Prominent streamers do not agree with you. Mage gets a targetable Ragarnos hero power for basically free, Druid is busted, Rogue spams huge threats.
You sir, are therefore a an unpolished knobstickle who should prove you have any skill at this game before posting again.

If they don't nerf Celestial Alignment, both Standard and Wild will totally convert into a Druid sewer.
Other than the Celestial Alignment problem and the Quest Mage problem in Wild, the 40 card meta has been good to me.
I have been playing 40 card Questline + Copper Collosal Hunter in wild, and my goal every game is to get Tavish Hero power to zero to summon 0 mana Huffers many times a turn. This deck loves Quest Mage because Hunter has Flare, and the Quest Mage will need to provide their own minions to First Flame/Second Flame because early turns I will be busy using Rapid Fire on their face. So I am playing maybe the only deck that loves seeing Quest Mage.

Zeddy, you well meaning ignoramus.
You KNEW the Hearthstone devs DO NOT actually play the game, especially WILD.
These nerfs are your fault. You said "Big Shaman" and these incompetent devs that DO NOT play Hearthstone believed you.
And they did exactly what you said. Possibly the shittest mass nerfs ever seen in the game.
Now we all suffer the consequences.
You KNEW you were dealing with devs that don't play this game. They took you word for word.
Zeddy, you mean well, but you are no fucking Brian Kibler. When he explains what is wrong, he does it in a way that a child can understand exactly what is wrong. And when I say child, I mean average Hearthstone dev that does not even play this game.
You went for "sound bites" and easy to understand "tip of the iceberg" examples. And they fixed your iceberg examples, you DOLT.
Look at the damage you have done! It is unreal. It the future, you better FREAKING LEARN how to communicate better.
