Definitely a great board-clear for existing wild Reno Mage, but I don't think it will make it into standard with card pool being so small.

Suskis posted a message on Untapped PotentialPosted in: Untapped PotentialHelp me with english wording: "End 4 turns with any unspent Mana" means: do not use any mana for 4 turns?
That is: turn 1 you play this card, then you do nothing for 4 turns and in turn 6 you obtain the reward? -

xanzan1 posted a message on May 22 Card Nerfs Are Live! Rogue + Archivist Elysiana NerfedPosted in: NewsThey literally just changed a classic card that has been around forever. They've done that A LOT. I'm not saying that they nerf the card in anyway, but they could change the way the cost is recognized once it is played for lower mana.

So is this set going to be like the Injustice League but with Hearthstone Villains? Not sure why but that is the vibe I'm getting.

It has been like that for as long as I remember honestly.

I agree that this is not the place for this discussion but I disagree with you saying that Barnes is long forgotten. Anyone playing Wild knows him. With or without the stupid "no one cares about wild" comments.

I think that if you play wild it is worth having. A lot of solid cards and even if not all of them are competitive, not many are strictly bad. It does have to do with how you play though since I got them all with gold over time just because some fit into gimmicks I enjoy.

I could totally be wrong on this, but I wanted some opinions on it. Anyone who plays wild knows that Even Shaman is a common deck there, and that it is likely considered on the best decks available there. I think the deck as a whole could use some balancing but in my opinion Thing from Below is the main problem of the deck. To make a small comparison this card in that deck is very similar to a card that was nerfed in the past called Corridor Creeper. The only difference now is that it has taunt, it only works in Shaman and it can be played without the enemy clearing your board in the past. I could be wrong on this, hence why I made this thread. I'd like some opinions on the subject. Anyone else think that Thing from Below offers too much tempo and board protection? Should this be on the hit list for those rare wild nerfs?

I don't even care if it is strong. As people often forget there are situations where even a weak deck is an unhealthy one. The fact that you have a deck completely based on drawing specific cards, that cannot function in ANY way without said cards, is an issue in itself because it creates a polarized situation of extreme high rolls or complete flops. That said it is also true that Big Priest is an absolute auto piloting deck, you completely ignore the enemy game plan when playing it since the sole purpose is to put your minions out on the board whether the enemy is Aggro or OTK.

I feel it is at least worth mentioning Drakonid Operative.

Because ramp is still a vital theme for Druid and both are likely still usable if the deck needs ramp badly enough.
2
I agree but wish that if they wanted weaker hero cards they would just nerf the offenders. Otherwise the choices in wild will be rather few. That said this isn't strictly worse than Deathstalker Rexxar by a long shot.

I agree with everything you said besides the last part. That said this can go in a deck that just runs solid spells and doesn't need to be in a spell hunter deck.
