I've dusted the cards which I don't think will get nerfed, which is the vast majority. 

Wave of Apathy into Shadow Word: Horror is already a great combo. Curious to see if this will be viable in wild. Maybe some version in a Raza deck

I don't know why but the reference in the title made me laugh. 

They pull me back in! Not too long ago I made a post saying how (I thought) my time with HS was over. I just wasn't enjoying the game anymore. Anyway, I haven't played in nearly two months now but I have to say that I am really intrigued by the new core set. Some of the Barrens cards look sweet as well. 

Bought the pre-order bundles this morning and I'm looking forward to cracking some packs later this evening. Really keen to see how the game feels with the new core set. That's a huge shake up and hopefully standard will feel a lot fresher now. 

So yeah, I'm back :) 

It seems that Blizzard is trying to push hard a new Warlock archetype in which lock has to destroy its own deck. Neeru Fireblade, Soul Rend, Blood Shard Bristleback, and even Tickatus without corruption. Destroy your own deck it is very bad, at least you don't have a very strong drawback.

New archetype is a big word, considering the past Chef Nomi. We know from the past that the archetype works, even through it is nothing special. Overall in any case Chef Nomi had a much bigger initial threat than Neeru Fireblade, but Neeru is constant. Its main issue is that it is not able to reach 30 damages on board, like Nomi.  We will see. 

Always hated needing the 3 damage only to get 2 damage.

The only handbuff card worth playing in hunter has only been Scavenger's Ingenuity, and that's only because it's a tutor. Value cards that do nothing on-board in hunter do not see play historically.

Hunter cannot play a value for value sake type playstyle, all its successful "value cards" have had a tempo element included.

How does this work with Zilliax in Wild? Let's say I play this on 3, Omega Devastator on 4, and Magnetize Zilliax on it on 5 would it summon a naked Zilliax or a Magnetized Copy?
