There could be a card like 'Whenever you trigger a deathrattle trigger two random deathrattles.' So if you were to have a full board of deathrattles, kill this then that kills everything else would be preeeeeeeety OP. I just over exadurated this.
I think the theme of your post rings true but its not as cut and dry as you say. For example, N'zoth's First Mate was kind of silly until MSG. That it became the core of a extremely powerful deck. Also I think elementals will come back, if not in the form of frost elementals in KFT very soon. Other examples include the rogue stealing mechanic and control hunter (that one hasn't paned out but they keep adding cards. Personally I like a curator version of midrange with n'zoth. fun not great). But the thing that rings true is that mechanics that die hard are often left to rot. This is the problem. I feel that the Managery mechanic, joust, and inspire are great examples. Joust especially had such great potential in my eyes. I wish they would go back and try and bring these to fruition.
I mostly agree with you. I think that your remark on the first mate is allign with mine, "or from a very small existing card pool".
Joust and Inspire are indeed really good mechanics, from a game developing POV, but they are really weak mechanics, they could, for example, create cards that reward you for playing/putting joust/inspire cards in your deck.
They could also make a card that would always be revealed when in your deck.
Here is a free arena ticket from blizzard giving you one win, but you complain about it. Logic I do not understand. Plus your signature says everything about you.
It is an obvious easter egg as his battle cry is 'That belongs in a museum.' and that's a reference to Indiana Jones. Plus Harrison Ford played Indiana Jones.
I am a F2P player and I play wild. To keep up in standard you need to dust all wild cards then buy new packs each year which is really expensive and not worth it. It's good for newbies to start off but I as a f2p player play just wild no standard and I don't need to refresh my whole collection. I just choose a few decks and fine tune them every expansions.
It is alright. It needs clearing but it is not OP, except if you leave it for a few turns hitting your face without taunts. It is useless against taunts as it is only a 3/3.
I think they would be a great idea, but we should not go overkill with it. They should make them with a downside like 7 mana 5/5 "Defender 15. Your hero is immune. You can't play cards." The Defender(X) could be the mechanics name where X is the health. And this card could be an iceblock but you cannot play cards but you could still draw cards regaining tempo.
I wasn't trying to make a balanced card, just an example.

Bleed is confusing, just say you deal one more damage. Otherwise they are good.

It is wierd both ways but I like the red one. Jokes aside. I hope they change it as it is triggering me.

I buy only around 15 with all gold.

Interestingly Sunkeeper Tarim changes them to 3/3 instead of keeping them 5/5.

Spreading plague is OP it leaves only one minion on the board. Or non at all. Should bring it up to atleast 7 mana.
