I've actually been playing C'Thun Druid a lot these last couple days and I've been getting beat pretty bad by a ton of decks. Zoo, midrange pally, shamans, 30 OTK Priest, Rogues.
You people will always find something to complain about instead of spending that time trying to learn the counterplays to C'Thun. Children.

Stormeair posted a message on Ancient of Lore still being used after nerf?Posted in: DruidI think, the best solution is to just disenchant it right after the patch goes live. Why? Because you'll get the full crafting value. You can enjoy the dust for a while and then just recraft it when you'll need it.

The sheeplike resonses that I got there are pretty good example of what is being said here in this thread.
By sheeplike, you mean counter-arguments that made sense compared to your attempted blanket statement that didn't apply to anywhere close to a majority of people who play the game... -

Prudence94 posted a message on Justicar Trueheart nerf is neededPosted in: Card DiscussionEnd of topic.
I hate Face Hunter like many other people but what you posted it's just Dumb... The fact that OP's favorite class is Hunter doesn't necessarily mean he plays Face Hunter,he might play Midrange (which destroyed CW before TGT and now has tougher MU just cause Justicar) or might even be one of those who (like me) would like Control Hunter to become a thing,we don't know that so there's no reason to attack him for such a thing.... -

zorthander posted a message on What's REALLY going to change with LOE?Posted in: General DiscussionQuote from Thedeityofice >>I have a feeling that the League of Explorers adventure will have about the same effect as Naxx or BRM.
I don't think it is a reason to complain: the impact of Naxx in the game was huge. HUGE. Sludge Belcher, Haunted Creeper, Loatheb are staples in many classes.Naxx also sent to the bench a lot of cards that used to be play (another way a set can impact the meta), like Chillwind Yeti or Novice Engineer.Quote from Thedeityofice >>The meta will shift when it comes out as people test out new cards. Some will make their way into new decks, and few will make a new deck of their own. But then, as everything looks fresh, aggro will come back and everything will stabilize again.
Everything is rubbish in this comment. The meta will change, the rest how to say, can you hear it? it is the music of the tinyest violin in the world...Quote from Thedeityofice >>The question is, are LOE cards strong enough to change the meta? Or will we end up just seeing the same Secret Paladin/Dragon Priest/Midrange Hunter/Druid/Paladin meta?
I would give you the answer, haven't you put it there first: the meta will change.Cheers. -

n00neimp0rtant posted a message on Why is Force+Roar a problem but Double Fireball/Fireball Frostbolt isn't?Posted in: General DiscussionOn an empty board, it's not a problem. 14 burst damage that has to go through taunts vs. 12 burst damage that does not. But if you have any sort of board presence whatsoever, Force + Savage easily becomes 20+ burst damage, which is just too much.

I've played against a lot of aggro Shaman in the last day and it's certianly interesting. I have games where I don't feel like I can do much, but there have also been several games where I just assumed I was dead but they didn't have the reach. It's so nice not having to worry about them rolling high on Crackle to finish the game, and Leper Gnome getting dropped has really shored up the early game. Midrange Paladin variants are good for dealing with them, as you can play a ton of counters to their 7/7 and if it ever feels like they're really getting to be too much Forbidden Healing is actually a reasonable option.

Why not shoot for turn 2?

All of the above really. But honestly actually playing it is the least fun thing for me. I like strategizing, theorizing, watching streams and tournaments, things like that.

The two format thing isn't supposed to be an answer for net decks. Mostly because there isn't an answer to net decks. And matching you against opponents based on dust cost or cards in collection would be a huge headache, as well as basically just creating new formats anyway. All the cheap decks playa against each other, all the expensive decks play against each other, and all the middle of the road decks play against each other. That is pretty much exactly creating different formats within one broader format. And if you think that would keep people from netdecking the best 1600 or whatever cost deck then I have some bad news.

Given that you've said you don't believe them when they say things, and therefore aren't going to take them saying they don't have plans to release new classes to the game as a hint that the Death Knight class is unlikely, I wouldn't go too deep on taking the flavor of cards as any indication that they will or won't do something. Unless the card is called "Seriously Guys, We Are Never Going to Release a Death Knight Class, Stop Asking". Then maybe, yeah.

Well. Short answer would be that it doesn't. You're just more invested in the last star you need to get to the next level because it's special. The other stars don't matter to you as much. So there are a few possibilities here. One, you get more anxious when it's the end of the level and play a bit worse. Two, you remember losing there more than other losses because it mattered more to you, and people generally remember negatives more than positives so these experiences are overwrite the times you do rank up. Three, Blizzard has a special algorithm to screw you over.
All three of these are possible, but which seems the least likely to you?

It is pretty silly. If you have the cards then you automatically know how to play every deck ever. I'm pretty sure that's how it works.
