Some unannounced content & surprises
Probably more skin packs and such. But let's hope one of the surprises is another balance patch that actually accomplishes something.

Insane power creep. This is Mistress of Mixtures, but fast, only heals you, AND its a spell, which allows for possible synergies.

Pretty immense power creep here, for a class that is not lacking in removals. Not sure I approve.

There are an unbelievable amount of comments saying “this is just okay” or “soul fragments do it better.”
This card is absolutely bananas good. With most things in hearthstone, there is a diminishing return on effects, or “too much of a good thing” if you will. These statements do not apply when it comes to healing in control lock. Especially when that healing is attached to a VERY cheap spell that also acts as removal.
I actually cannot believe how strong this is for control lock. This just adds to the anti aggro kit, which is a big reason they aren’t playable right now.
And bonus points to this for being a shadow spell, making it work with tamsen. Again, amazed at the amount of “ehh” response. This card is ridiculous.

Quote from Andrei2007 >>After declaring 15th an official Nozdormu day, realising nobody cares about that because people just want to get quick wins, now we get this quest:
Why not a Nozdormu game mode? Or prioritizing queueing against Noz players. Really I know they go for simplicity, but this just doesn't work.
Because they don't do queue prioritization? That would completely fuck up the entire ecosystem
As for "people want to get quick wins" I can't think of a quicker win than 15 seconds per turn, I'm tired of getting roped every turn starting at turn 3 while climbing in Silver

Oh, hey, it's the 15th tomorrow... at least they lined it up, right?
Or can we get this quest any day of the month?
Anyway, easy quest, it's 3 games. Don't even have to win them. *shrug*

I think that if they show case that they have priority queuing it might inflate the idea that games can be rigged easily. This direction is better tbh as a separate game mode could increase wait time dramatically but I could be wrong.

I know Warlock is at the bottom of the barrel now, but Tickatus still feels absolutely awful to have dropped on you.
Blizzard has gone on record multiple times over the years saying that they consider player feel, not just winrate.
Remember when the first Quest Rogue was nerfed at least 3 separate times, despite it being tier 3?
Do we need to Kibler to complain about Tickatus so it'll get changed or are we just cool with one card being able to delete up to a 3rd of our decks?
P.S. the refreshing spring water nerf wasn't enough.

I love tikatus as a card. But it is the sole reason why there will never be a control meta.

What a joke. Waiting weeks for 'data' to make nerfs has always been a weak point on Blizzard's side.

Read his comment please. As he said; it's about player feel, not just the % people seem to care so much about. I don't see Tickatus commonly anymore and that makes me so happy. I just concede every Warlock game the moment Tickatus comes down and move on with my control decks. But that doesn't mean the card isn't a problem for a healthy control meta.
3
Conviction and other cards didn't even get touched. What a failure of a patch after waiting for so many weeks.
7
2 weeks? What are they waiting for ffs?
2
Oh boy more Tickatus

You can't talk about how people don't understand the game when you argue Tickatus gets kept in check because of aggro. That's not a real counter for control decks; in a healthy meta you'd have aggro-control-combo but since Tickatus is both the best control and combo deck and counter, it only loses to aggro. The card solely makes people create more aggro and there you go; unhealthy and annoying meta.
If the card was fine, they'd print a neutral counter for control decks to run that basically removes Tickatus from play. It's not; it pushes the meta in a bad direction and prevents cool decks and cards from being playable.

Probably around 300 euros in 2014-2015, not really anything except when they do some crazy (cheap) deal. Always regretted spending the money afterwards too. Haven't invested anything after losing faith in the company with cards like Tickatus or the current meta confirming that belief. Don't feel like it's necessary with the current reward system either.
1
This is such a common but flawed reply which makes the problem persists longer than should have been healthy.
What does it matter if some aggro decks can beat Tickatus? The card itself is uninteractive and stifles the meta so hard. Why can't people play cool control decks with cards such as C'thun? Because of Tickatus. The card is just unhealthy for the game in so many ways. I don't get how some people can't see that.

Nerf Tickatus so control is fun again or give viable counters, please...
