usually in Highlander the choice is Bone Wraith which is good against tren-druid but I kinda like Omega Defender which also comes with a Battlecry. I did also experiment with Lifedrinker or Hecklebot (which actually screwed up rogue pretty nicely
totally not, it would be a dead card most of the time and even if, you dont even have enough of spells, plus the minions generated are weak. If somebody let you survive till you equip that weapon twice you probably would win anyway cause he was afk
I see this in one of the few ways to include the new cards but
compared to regular Highlander Shaman this has only 2"win more cards" King Phara and the new Fist. That are not even that strong, while having the same weaknesses like drawing inconsistent your Galakrond minions and beeing very weak the first 4 turns, there's basicially nothing to play until turn 4/5 and even for that you have get good draw.
The Fist and the new spell make it even more difficult to answer Aggro the first turns and mess up your hand. (For which you should include a Taunt)
Maybe it would make sense to have an Mutate or the new card because most Legendaries are kinda weak from stats.
Hunter needs to have very good draw to win. w-brew helps of course but is not needed if you get zilliax + zephrys (byebye secret or heal) I also run earthshock in combo with zentimo to silence the lep.gnomes. and a turn 7 Galakrond with 5 Armor
actually Hunter or zoolock is the easiest. Rogue is tough.
I think the pure Galakrond+Shudderwok control version is more consistent than the highlander version and rogue needs his Flik to counter otherwise dead
totally agree here, even the Galagrond version you face fatigue when facing some control - and these games are crucial to climb, just sucks losing after 35 mins. and Electra is a nice surprise.
usually play the Galagrond Version but in this Meta I need space for BlackKnight or Mindcontrol Tech or Khartut, so yea maybe miss out on the 2 8/8s with rush and 5 Armour

when you draw into your Galakrond minions its fine to get 8/8s especially when your opponent doesnt find his 2nd embiggen or Ysera ;)

so what it is you do against face hunter or treant druid? Because you gonna be down to 15hp or less by turn 6

need something against Gala Rogue, thats all I face around Rank 8. Stupid discover should be reduced to 2 cards max

so hard to deal with for control decks The Forest's Aid for control.. its basically 3-4 boardclears plus the 8/8 rush
