Now even free-to-play folks can have meta-ish decks.

Foshizzel17 posted a message on New Druid Legendary Minion - Flobbidinous FloopPosted in: Card DiscussionJust no...Play t9 Malygos and then, on t10, play Ixlid, Fungal Lord and this for two malygos for 9-mana. Alternately, use this combo with Hadronox for two free taunt floods.
This is meta-defining, but not in a good way.
No, in that situation this would become Ixlid

BootyLuong posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionConceding isn't poor sportsmanship. Alot of people prefer if you do. It saves them time calculating whatever calculations need to be made and just lets them queue faster into the next game. I used to let people get the final blow for the same reason you specified, until i started running into people who would rope me for not conceding. It got really annoying, so i just stopped doing that because it slightly triggered me when they do OR they play every card they can to rub it in... By conceding I don't give them the option to be obnoxious
EDIT: Remember when Exodia mage was a thing?... and your opponent would fireball everything they could... hit every 1/1 token... hit Antonidas... hit everything except your face... prime example of why i prefer conceding

swinkscalibur posted a message on Increasing use of The Wussy MovePosted in: General DiscussionIt's called saving time. Though going through your whole turn is a bit of a waste of time, but can you blame them, they work hard to build, tune and refine their deck, they play well and want to finish out their final turn.

Took a quick screen cap at start of a match for reference. I play on lower settings because my laptop is kind of dying and getting replaced by end of the year, but I know it isn't as bad as Rasta's portrait makes it look. Comparing him to Rexxar, Rasta looks like total shit.

I went and got the preorder today and immediately switched my shaman decks to use Rastakhan hero portrait. Noticed immediately the image for his hero portrait seems very low resolution compared to other heroes and their portraits. He also wasn't animated at first, but I saw other tickets that this was potentially across the board for a bit. His animation seems fine now.
I mentioned it in a Battle.net forum post regarding the latest patch, but I wanted to know is anyone else noticing this or is it just me?
Playing on PC, by the way. So not a mobile issue from latest changes there.

I want a mode that changes monthly, and only allows use of a small amount of card sets from both standard and wild. With the allowed sets changing each month, and maybe not always including the Basic/Classic cards.
But I also want all Classic cards to go to Wild, and replaced with a "Core Set" which would include a variety of cards from Wild that are available for Standard play. So basically no set is forever in Standard, but any card can be brought into Standard via the Core set when they feel it's right for the current meta game. Also, with this change they should replace "Classic Packs" in the in game store, and through in game rewards with "Core Packs". The Core cards could be rotated once a year, with potential tweaks for a specific expansion release if needed.

And the Loa are the trolls' gods, so... Grand Tournament of the Old Gods?! LOL

Does it say if they consider accounts actually being played on a regular basis or is it simply accounts created? I don't think it specifies, but either way I'm not going to bother worrying too much about it. FREE STUFF!!!

I get that maybe they don't want to give golden legendaries every time, but was a little disappointed when I first saw the preorder deals. First, because the obvious drop in value from no extra packs like WW or extra free legendary like BDP. Even if they don't give a golden legendary, maybe they could at least put a regular legendary in with the bundles, or maybe with the $50 bundle as even more incentive to buy it.
But then I noticed the $20 bundle only comes with 17 card packs?! WTF is that?! I think it's smart of them to make a smaller bundle for those who maybe want to pre-order but don't want to drop $50, but why not at least make the $/pack value the same???
Don't get me wrong, I'm likely still going to get them both, and maybe even another 40 or 60 packs, but overall if I spent $140 I will have 3 fewer packs, and 2 less free golden legendaries than I had after spending $130 last expansion on both bundles. So I'm not mad, and not trying to spew salt. I'm more or less just confused by their decision making.
The only thing I can think that potentially justifies the decision of having lower value in pre-orders is that perhaps we'll get some sweeter rewards from the solo content like more free packs, or maybe even a free legendary or two? Who knows, but we'll see soon enough.

It applies IF you have never opened any packs in that set. If you opened even one prior to the rule change, it won't apply.

It could be fun to have a second constructed option to play with a larger deck. And if any cards are considered too strong to include in this mode with more cards perhaps they could just ban cards from being used in the larger decks rather than trying to balance for this game mode.

If you had played when Thunder Bluff Valiant was new I think you might have seen it some. I don't really remember, but I want to say Totem Shaman was a thing?! But I played really casually for a long time and didn't really try to climb ladder until around Un'Goro. So I could be wrong.

A genius plan to eliminate Baku decks!!! Think about it! If every card doubles in cost, they'll all be EVEN cost cards!!! Genn will get auto-included into EVERY SINGLE DECK!!!
The rise of Evenstone!!!
(But seriously... what?!)
