I'd say 2 days max before the community finds some game breaking combinations that result in this getting a hotfix

Ophion-EU posted a message on New Death Knight Legendary Card Revealed - The Headless HorsemanPosted in: NewsPretty decent. It's mainly good in slow and grindy games where you can get value from the hero power, but it's not unusual to see that kind of meta right after the rotation when the power level is at its weakest.

Jason_Vought posted a message on New Neutral Legendary Card Revealed - Splendiferous WhizbangPosted in: News"This deck is heroic" is likely filled with all of the League of Explorers - all the Renos, all the Elizes. Kind of insane? Especially if that entails having both Reno, Lone Ranger and The Amazing Reno.

Nekkro2 posted a message on New Neutral Legendary Card Revealed - Splendiferous WhizbangPosted in: NewsI think is the perfect card. Whizbang is one of the most beloved and unique cards in the game. People would get mad if the card did something too different to the first Whizbang, but also if the card does something too similar. This is quite a sweetspot.
It's not a good card, but like, I think that people easily forgot that the original Whizbang wasn't a good card, it saw a ton of play on the first week, and then drop dramatically, cause playing random decks is just not that fun for most people. Specially if you enjoy deckbuilding. But I think that the card does what it has to do.
Is a fun card that could be usefull if you don't have a big collection, but is going to get boring eventually. I think that one way of make the card a lot better is if you can choose what deck you are going to play (like with the new Zylliax) if thats the case I think it has more potential of see play cause you can play the deck that you like. And maybe that's the case, cause you have like 12 Tokens.
But if is completle random like in the original Whizbang I think is going to not see that much play later in the set.

I do think they are soaking in all that $ though! Especially by making him a free card.

If you opened 10 normal packs you’d hit that legendary by that 10th pack or earlier. But regardless of any of that, golden and normal packs have separate pity timers, even if they are the same expansion. Golden packs used to not give a guaranteed legendary in the first 10, but I guess they changed that. Not sure when that changed though.
TLDR: The two pack types have timers that are independent of each other, so it doesn’t matter what you open first.

With the new Raza not having duplicate restrictions you could also play a non-Reno, non-Shadow deck, and use something like Embrace the Shadow and cheap healing spells to do face damage. Not to mention the new minion that makes your hero power cost 0 when in play.
Something like the Thief Priest that Dane was playing recently but with thief cards swapped for the damage and cheap healing spells, plus at least one Embrace. That way you can draw like crazy, discount like crazy, and then blast the opponent.

That’s actually not a new problem. A long time ago I faced a Big Priest while piloting a Druid deck. I can’t remember exactly how it played out, but the Priest might have used Potion of Madness on something of mine that had Soul of the Forest on it, and my minion died on their side to give them a Treant. Later I used Poison Seeds to give them a few more Treants. A while after those were killed off the Priest cast spellstone to rez three different minions, two were Treants!
This was before Tteants had alt art work too! The only difference was their watermark. Soul treant was a Classic card, while Seeds treant token was a Naxx card.
The same happens if you use 1x Legacy and 1x Core versions of Hex and a priest tries to rez with their spellstone. In fact, hit them with those and the Datkmoon elemental that casts Hex and their Eternal Servitude might give them 3 frogs as their “different” options.
I feel like they should be able to fix this somehow, and honestly should. Especially if they do anymore “reprints” in sets like Caverns of Time.

K bye!

As you said, it's not an aura. So I'm going to say no, it doesn't work on that.

I keep seeing these types of threads, but feel like I see nowhere near the level of bots others do. Especially these bots that use nothing but Core cards. Can I get some of those? I’m okay with free wins!

So new Sludge Lock plan: Get a bunch of sludges in your deck, have some board control tools in hand, play this. After spinning the wheel you likely have board control, use resources wisely to maintain control, win in 5 turns.
I might actually play Sludge Lock now to meme!

So… two cards do random things and you’re going to judge the entire set. A set which we’ve seen about ten cards…
Neat.

Based on that I’d say he was changed to prevent newer cards from being used in the Twist Fast Forward event. That way they guarantee he doesn’t give you decks like 3x Unholy DK when no one is supposed to have access to the class, and so on.
That’s actually good to see they thought about that ahead of time!
