Alex is a way to Slow

Control Warrior is the definition of a slow deck. With all the removal and armor gain, CW can afford to be a little slow.
Slow mean you use Alex to setup 2 turn kill. Shaman ỏr Huntard can bust you down the next turn. priest can just heal. Paladin with forbiden healing even better. And some time Reno show up. You are not freeze mage you cant bust for 20+ dmg a turn...

    Yogg out in 2 year.

cant wait for entomb gone so i can put ysera in my CW deck again. Now Yogg is just better. We need more control tools from the next expansion for control deck able slow the game down past turn 10 frequently then ysera will be played a lot more. She always be one of the best late game card, a semi win condition of her own.

    -1 Elise + Ragnaros Firelord

    -1 Alex - 1 Bloodhoof - 1 Revenge + 2 Slam + 1 Acoylte

Deathwing and Elise counter productive cos if you plAy Deathwing you destroy your hand so elise lost a lot of legendary. You need more threat so Rag is good , just to bait removal for your Deathwing later.

alex is too slow now , Slam + acoytle for more cycle to answers.

Nah i play wild a lot, and Dr.7 power isnt it used to be, due to all the new cards. It still great, but not gamebreaking.

for a main CW I only need Deathbite back. Thats a perfect weapon for warrior it should be in classsic set.

WARRIOR BRO GET YOUR TANK UP ON.

I have a couple of control warrior decks that I run in standard sometimes but my WR with them is abyssmal.
Usually I mulligan for early game removal to keep the board clear, and I basically just try to remove any threat the opponent plays as quickly as possible. I assume this is the wrong strategy, since I wind up losing most of the time. Any suggestions?
CW is a diffcult deck to pilot, you have to have understanding about the other deck and the current meta to make a correct decision. Sometimes best action is just tank up. You want to save ur execute and slam for biggest threat but sometimes you use it on a 2-1 knife juggler. Or vs zoo you want to be greedy with ur brawl but vs midrange deck you can brawl earlier. Small decision like that make you a good CW player or not. Or I used to auto lose vs control priest or renolock so I decided to play control priest and renolock myself for a while. After that, I comeback to my belove CW and my winrate vs these two deck improve a LOT. So I think to be good CW player, you have to be pretty good with a lot of other decks aswell.

Shouldn't it be Control < Aggro < Midrange < Control?

WHy you call yourself Control when you pwned by a face hunter? control > aggro> Combo= Midrange > control.

Control warrior is more consistent than Anyfin but piloting the deck requires more of a skill cap. In the matchup against one another, control warrior is favoured. You have more win conditions as a control warrior than a control paladin. What you want to craft is personal choice but you will win more with control warrior than control paladin archetypes.

What? CW is favored vs Control Pala? What game you play. You just to press hero power when play pally and wait for the warrior to concede. Ìf you tech in Justicar it will be much faster lol. I play both my CW and nzoth pally to golden portrait so i know how the matchup go. Really CW is a control deck made to punish aggressive decks and freeze mage but vs  other control deck such as entomb pries, nzoth and otk pally, renolock, you feel helpless lolz.

So you miss it. Google chessdude123 hes the guy reinvent the questing rogue. Recent Summer Asian Pacific tournament 6/8 pro brought Miracle Rogue in their lineup and 5 of them go questing, only 1 Maly rogue. So look like its the best miracle version at the moment.

Well murlock otk cycle out but the core legendary of the deck, Tirion and Light lord rags still here, and you can play its brother Nzoth Paladin later, so nothing to worry about dust value.

if you want better vs Control, go murloc and nzoth paladin. Eat CW for breakfast.

if you want to farm shaman, zoo, freeze mage, CW is the best. But beware, the most popular control deck ironicly the weakest in Control mirror. Control priest, control paladin, renolock matchup all are horrible.

To be honest questing rogue is strong now i am owning with it .with good starting hand your questing grown so fast that make 4 mana 77 look bad. You nonlonger need to pray for auctioneer draw cos you can steAmroll in early game with questing conceal. I also have a very flexible finisher of deckhand and faceless capable of 21 damage from hand for 8 mana vs control deck. You can also faceless ur fat questing or edwin earlier vs faster deck. So i have a lot of option for closing the game. Try it, it harder thAn most deck but very rewarding and fun to play with only aggro shaman as a bad matchup

Is that 2 decks or everything in one?
Your standard questing miracle -1 Leeroy -1 Shiv +1 deckhand + 1 faceless  . Leeroy 3 card combo 7 mana 14 dmg vs deckhand combo 4 card 8 mana 20 dmg. 6 dmg is vital when you play vs CW or Priest or Pally.Full combo only use vs control so with auctioneer draw 1 card more doesnt matter.and deckhand can use vs agro as a removal and faceless is also very flexible card its own so IMHO its really better than leeroy only.

posted a message on Lack of Good Paladin Early Game Cards

Well at least when Entomb is gone, nzoth paladin will be strongest control class in the game. The holy trio dual rag and tirion is insane. After that you have nzoth.. no other control class come close to this late game power.
