Granted, when you are playing priest, you and your opponent are most likely trying to keep each other off the board completely. So that's going to limit your opponent's ability to trade the minion you cast this on. So if you can take the punch in the face that you are going to get, then this becomes a very nice board swing provided he can't deal with his own minion.
It can also be good on a big minion that your opponent can't just straight up trade, like Ysera or Tyrion, but not all big minions. If you use this on malygos you are dead, if you use this on Alexstrasza you are dead, if you use this on a fat jade golem, you are dead.
I just don't see this card justifying is place in a priest deck when it's a bad play in the large majority of circumstances. Could it win a game for you? Absolutely. Is it going to get you the win more often than any card you might replace it with? I doubt it, but I could be wrong.
Yeah, I'm having a really hard time getting past the "spend 6 mana and do absolutely nothing this turn" part of the card. It can be good in very limited situations. Sylvanas was great in every situation except where your opponent didn't have a board. That's a weakness I'm more than comfortable living with.
This seems to be good when you don't have a board. When you don't have a board, you really don't want to spend a turn doing nothing. If you live it will be a great board swinger.
See, I'm not so sure about some of the choose one cards. Once you've chosen taunt on druid of the claw, it becomes a different card with taunt printed on the card.
The reason given for not adding the Undead tribe is a stupid one and I'm really disappointed that we won't see another version of Sylvanas.
You and me both. With Elise making a repeat appearance in Un'Goro, I was really hoping for a new Sylvanas in the Lich King. It would have made sense. He's the one that made her a forsaken.
If she's FROST Lich Jaina, her new hero power should have something to do with freezing an enemy. I don't know if turning her hero power into a frostbolt would be enough to make this card amazing.
Concede vs. quest rogue? No thanks. My favorite game in this expansion was my dragon priest vs. quest rogue. Thanks to shadow visions, I hit him with 4 dragonfire potions and a Ysera awakens. I could just picture the guy seething as I constantly wiped his board and ran him out of cards.
Impressive that you managed to survive all the chargers though. Dealing with the 5/5s on board is doable, problem is stopping the 20 or more from the chargers from hand, that becomes harder. They can just charge you for 30 with bounces, AoE's will do nothing against that.
Yes, Vanish and stonetusks are some serious BS. If they can set it up right, there isn't much you can do. I'm not saying it's a good matchup by any stretch. That's what made the win so much sweeter. Still, I hate seeing jade druids more than I hate seeing quest rogues.

I reroll every quest that I can't easily complete with the classes that I want to play and have standard decks ready for. Warlock, rogue, shaman, druid, pirate, murloc, deathrattle, bubble, play a friend, tavern brawl quests need not apply.

I went full elemental kazakus. It's surprising how many cards I want to cram in and don't have room. I'm trying out Sindragosa since I pulled her.

Sorry, it's nice and all, but I spent way too much time playing WoW again to get Lady Liadrin to ever put this to use.

Terrible druid draw facing many mages.

Nice catch, but does the art also confirm mage as a new weapon class and that Jaina is a lefty, giving me one more reason to like her?

I play mostly Priest and Mage so I'd like some more highlander service plus some deathrattles so I can actually use the priest quest effectively.
