I think the biggest frustration a lot of people have is when they just want to play a fun (sometimes single) game of Casual, either to just warm up a bit or before logging off. They pick a deck that's a bit more fun than functional, only to run into a Control Warrior and get zero fun out of their game. They try again and run into a Token Druid.
The main issue I think is that there is no difference between true Casual and Unranked and I don't really see how Blizzard could identify the difference given how even the primary net-decks will have differences between players. (for instance I run an Applebaum in my Hand Mage)
You could try and just split the two by adding another game mode called Unranked and see if players who want to run net-decks outside of Ranked will go there but if someone wants to intentionally stomp Casual fun decks with a net-deck, it's going to be pretty hard to prevent that.
Oh boy, this is going to get some wild ideas going. For now, I've come up with this:
Any thoughts?
It's overpowered I think. So you can't stack it on itself because it's not a mech itself but you could just Forbidden Ritual. Then if you have a Mech it's a lot stronger than Sound the Bells!. Then the cost part, does it even matter for anything? I can only think of Prismatic Lens that would cuck its mana cost, or like Mana Wraith <:
The cost is so you can't reduce it to 0 mana and infinitely stack it. I was actually intending it to be a Mech. Forgot about the tribe tag. Worse case is that you then just have a 10 mana 10/10 which felt fair. Sound the Bells! can go on any minion though, not just Mechs.
I'm fine with Control decks. I don't really have an issue with long games either.
My only gripe is when said Control deck has so much removal (even for a Control deck) that it feels almost pointless to play anything. And for me, it feels like that is currently the case with Warrior.
Obviously a Warrior won't use all of them in the same deck but it comes close. There is just *so* much removal available. And on top of all that, Warrior gets a ton of armor generation, a Hero card with a very powerful aura and stuff like Omega Assembly, which can find more Omega Devastators and Zilliax by the way.
Oh you've got an 8/8 giant and a 7/4 dragon on the board and Warrior has nothing? One Omega Devastator with Dr. Boom and both are gone thanks to a 10 damage Battlecry and rush on the Mech itself. For 4 mana. Supercollider can also clear it.
Individually (Omega Devastator excepted) the cards are all pretty much fine but Warrior having access to this much removal AND value generation AND armor generation at the same time feels frustrating to play against. It just feels like a bit too much. Not massively, but a bit.
Tried Dragon/Control Priest. It can still get somewhere, but stuff like Murloc Shaman absolutely shits all over it. The lack of early board clears really hurts. Mass Hysteria / Holy Nova is the earliest clear you can have and Turn 5 is simply too late if Shaman gets any kind of decent Murloc presence.
Nerfs can target a single card more effectively. Buffs can have much larger cascading effects other than providing an alternative to that strong card you didn't want to nerf.
Certain weak/pack-filled cards could use a buff sure, but if a certain card is being problematic, buffing other cards is a much trickier way to try and fix it. It can be much harder to anticipate how the newly buffed card is going to impact the meta compared to nerfing the problematic card itself.
Yeah, it's strong if they can pull it off. So is my Book Mage dropping a Mountain Giant on 3 and making two more AFTER trading with it on turn 4 using Conjurer's Calling. Many decks have a nut draw/play. This is one of them. Earliest they can do it is turn 4. Meaning you'll have 5 mana to deal with it (5 mana if you're going first, 4 mana + Coin if going second). Most decks can generally deal with two 3/3's using 5 mana.
Oh, and if you add weapon removal, you can break that 4 mana weapon AND one of those 3/3's back into his hand. Which won't be free next turn.

My first ideas:
The Revenant is the NPC character that is trying to prevent Arthas from claiming Frostmourne in the campaign.
Any thoughts?

"As it turns out, Dragons really like it when you scratch them behind the ears. Just don't try it with Alexstrasza !"

And another idea, everyone's favorite racist Paladin, Lord Garithos (INHUMAN!):

Warrior removals/clears:
Shield Slam

Omega Devastator
Dyn-o-matic
Supercollider
Reckless Flurry
Militia Commander
Smolderthorn Lancer

One wonders if it lays Omega Eggs...

Just to clarify, does the minion have to suck? As in be actually terrible and borderline unplayable?
And do roosters count? Would a card with a rooster meet the criteria?

My first idea:
Like all chicken cards, it could work in theory.

Can't hurt to try. :)

It's just a potential powerful swing, nothing more.
And to get the full powerhouse out, they'd need to:
Have Preparation in hand
Have Raiding Party in hand
Draw both 3/3 Taunts from that Raiding Party.
