I havent played the questing warrior yet, but I have played against both versions your speaking of. The version with ww and swtf is pretty potent against aggro decks towards the late game when they start running out of steam. SB and SS is only ever a good tech against strong tempo decks like elemental mage , quest druid and elemental shaman with strong single minions like blazecaller so I guess the decision would depend on the current state of the meta.
This is great! Rogue finally gets a deck to play that doesnt involve drawing your whole deck to win and everyone is up in arms about a nerf. It is clear that the quest rogue is designed to punish slower decks that play 1-2 minions a turn so it definitely struggles against other fast decks, but no, lets just nerf the shit so we can find something else to complain about. I hear questing mage is pretty uninteractive too, what with 4 ice blocks and 20+ frost novas to stall the game, lets nerf that.
With the reveal of the new neutral elemental, firefly, sherazin can be revived with one copy of that one and shadowstep.
Wasting Shadowstep on that would be a huge mistake. You could just run another card that's a 5/3 or better instead. I see value in putting Firefly in decks as an activator, but it's not worthwhile trying too hard to bring back Sherazin
I'm just pointing out how easy it would be to revive her given more cards that were previously unannounced. And that's a bit of a stretch to say a shadowstep is wasted on an elemental given we havent seen all the elemental synergies yet.
I think this fits nicely in a burgle rogue which everyone forgets to realize exists. A ridiculous opening curve would be: 1.Swashburglar - 2.Funnel Cakes - 3.Burgle or Shakku - 4.Sherazin - 5.Ethereal Peddler - 5.Revive Sherazin. You could realistically only revive sherazin once or twice a game but it depends on if you consider running auctioneer in a burgle deck. The deck would be extremely highrolly, but the tempo swings would be massive.
Encounter at the crossroads was always kinda-sorta cool, because it promoted board control and favorable trades and the occasional lucky RNG draws. Party crashers just completely kill this way of play with endless unavoidable smorcage, much like pirate warriors and other mindless face decks.
This can't be an accident by Blizzard and I sincerely believe they're trying to highlight how unfun it is to play against face decks.

That's four cards though. You only need one shadowstep and one firefly.

The most amazing thing about this card is that it can be discovered from Journey Below.

They keep hinting at this amazing new rogue card. This sure wasn't it.
