Could this brawl be a sneak preview of tomorrows preview which will be previewing the new single player content by giving us a taste of what it may be all about?

Dolomite13 posted a message on Council of SixPosted in: General DiscussionWell looks like we are heading to Dalaran and that means we should see cards that encompass the Kirin Tor and more specifically the Council of Six.
The Council of Six, also known as The Six, the High Council[citation needed] or the Ruling Council, is the name given to the Kirin Tor high council of Dalaran. These six individuals are the leaders of both the city and all territories under the control of Dalaran. The Six are usually the most senior, but not necessarily the most gifted. They are chosen by several means, magic but one of them.- Ansirem Runeweaver - Like Modera, he was on the council when Garithos condemned Kael'thas. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Archmage_Ansirem_Runeweaver
- Kalec/Kalecgos - Former Aspect of the blue dragonflight, real name Kalecgos. Kalec has been a member of the Kirin Tor since Theramore's Fall but joined the council after Jaina left. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Kalecgos
- Karlain - An alchemist and mage. Once at the mercy of his emotions, he has since become one of the most controlled and thoughtful members of the Kirin Tor. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Karlain
- Khadgar - Formerly Medivh's apprentice, he was the member of the council that suggested appointing Jaina as their leader, following the events of the attack on Theramore. Now leads the council as of Jaina's departure, and spearheads the Kirin Tor's efforts against the returned Burning Legion. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Khadgar
- Modera - The longest-standing member. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Archmage_Modera
- Vargoth - Leader of the first Kirin Tor expedition to Draenor during The Invasion of Draenor, has a retreat in the Violet Citadel. - https://wow.gamepedia.com/Archmage_Vargoth
So does anyone want to speculate what their cards might look like? What cards they might inspire?
- I'll start with The Staff of Archmage Vargoth a (3) mana 0/3 Legendary Neutral Weapon (yes lets think outside of the box) that reads "At the end of your turn summon an Image of Archmage Vargoth" which would be a (1 ) mana 0/2 Minion with Taunt and Spell Damage +1
Of course we have already seen Kalecgos
Thoughts?

Jack78 posted a message on Year of the Dragon Expansions Guessing ThreadExpantion 1:
Area: Argus
Givaways:
Core: look closely and you see it's a star illuminating runes with a blur effect (And it's the only core that's not copy pasted.)
Colors: Fits well with Draenei, more old school Exodar style but still very Draenei.
Art: Agen, feels Draenei with the "royal" lines on top and familiar rune on bottom, as well as the artist have purposely changed the bottom wood art to something more solid.
Card Pack: Well there is one clear giveaway here, don't that cracked worn out art remind you of something? (Argus Map)
Relevance: Non really, but it's a untapped source of assets. I hear everyone is assuming Dalaran and/or Arcane, my question to you is how will you create 150 ish unique cards based on those assets?
Expantion 2:
Area: Nasjatar
Core: Nothing special, it's actually copy pasted to Expansion 3, But it fits with the water/fire theme. (will get back to that)
Colors; Fits a watery theme/ancient ruins.
Art: Lots of small hints here, the trident behind the core most obvious, Yeah i know it looks like a cross for consistency, but take note the artist ever so slightly lifted the cross from the center. Other hints are the tiny bit of corrosion on the frame around the core, the watery "hidden" runes on the left side of the frame And runes in general signalizing that this is something very old.
Relevance: Well HUGE, as this will clearly release fairly close to WOW patch 8.2.
PS: Odd thing i noticed, the outer frame on Ex1 and 2 is clearly copy pasted as well as the top half of the outer circle, but the bottom half is edited. Problem is i cant figure out what it illustrates, a bone? Driftwood?
Expansion 3:
Area: Blackwing Lair / Blacrock Dephts.
Core: Same as Expansion 2, but now represent Fire.
Colors: well you cant really get closer to BWL/BRD.
Art: Major here is the tooth, we already done dinosaurs so beasts are pretty much out of the picture so it makes sense to expect it's a dragon tooth. And that exudes a lot of other thing making BWL/BRD a pretty safe bet. Other things to notice is the lava on top and what clearly is handcrafted iron on bottom.
Relevance: Fits well with WOW's Classic stage 2 release "Stage 2: Blackwing Lair, Battlegrounds and PvP rewards, Zul'Gurub", but i don't think it's enough assets we can use in BWL we already haven't used, alas why i added BRD.
It's actually hard to tell what they will do with this one, as we already did Black Rock Mountain. Maybe it it simply will be a dragon Theme all in all. (This is really the most confusing one to me, the art Absolutely screams Dark iron and Black Dragon Flight, but we already used the best assets in the Blackrock Mountain solo expansion)

It's great for new players, guys. Entering now to Hearthstone is quite confusing, you have 6 different sets, lots of cards. With these "recipes" newbies can discover new cards progressively, in a natural way. For veterans it's just garbage, but it doesn't matter right?

They would play awful anyway. Hearthstone's A.I. sucks so bad...

I think Hogger is a Gnoll
1
Then you mean "play" and not "summon" the minion, because summon bypass the battlecry effects.

I always wanted an indicator of the porcentage of completion of my collection in the Collection Manager, I ask too much Blizzard??
Thankfully now we got Innkeeper, although there's no explicit porcentage.

Mark of the Wild too. But Houndmaster, [card]Shattered Sun Cleric[/card], Stormwind Champion, are basics and don't have it...

I played a lot of games where my opponent missed lethal or BMed me (not quite sure) and then I managed to win!!
I say Never give up!
