I think this has been one of the worst years for Hearthstone. Since K&K, the meta has been so stale. clearly the power level of cards is much lower in the last three expansions. I'm really looking forward for next rotation.
Speaking of which, personally I would prefer a rotation with each expansion instead of every year. This way more decks will have chance to show up, the meta won't feel as stale, and every expansion will have its fair share of standard play. Thoughts?
The only Quest that was actually tier 1 is Rogue's The Caverns Below. The rest didn't see much competitive play. So although Quests are hard to counter, they were reasonable enough where the sacrifices you had to make in deck building for the quest to work lowered the quality of the whole deck and resulted in fair match ups for the most part.
Journey to Un'goro was one my most favorite expansions and it was mainly because of the Quests. Since it's rotation out with the next expansion, do you think (know) we will get new quests for each class? Or was it just a one time thing and they're not going to release them again? If anyone has any info on the matter, please let me know.
I thought that Hero cards were only a KoFT special, but they kept releasing new Hero cards since Witchwood for various classes. So If I have to guess, I would say they want to release Quests next expansion to keep one for each class every rotation.
And would you actually like new quests with the next rotation or not?
Thanks for the suggestions. I mainly added Da Undatakah for fun purposes. It is too slow for the deck. If I'm losing it's too late to do anything and if I'm winning I won't need it. So I took it out.
I do like the Devilsaur Egg more as well it's a cheaper card to be buffed and it will help make the deck less clunky. So I replaced Mechano-Egg with it.
Both of Zola the Gorgon and Prince Taldaram can provide a lot of value in this deck. But as I try to make the deck competitive for constructed. I found that we need 3 drops. Turn 1 Quest, Turn 2 only a 1/3 Immortal Prelate or Hero Power and no 3 drops. I'm afraid we get run down by Aggro Decks. So I added in Zola and Paragon of Light. Sticky minion and curves well into Blessing of Kings. Took out the Saronite Chain Gang.
To be honest, Shrink Ray is not a true board clear and for 5 Mana! I mean it works well with Wild Pyromancer. But this combo does not allow you to develop anything on the board in the same turn. So I think it's kinda slow. Same goes with Countess Ashmore. The only time you get value with it is if you can play Shirvallah, the Tiger on the same turn. But otherwise on turn 7 and with no Taunt. I can't tell, but it might require some experimentation.
I also added 1 Crystology since we now have 7 targets for it! I took out Zilliax since we don't really need to Magnetize it with the Meat Wagon.
As for now, I want to add another Paragon of Light and Crystology. But I have no idea what we can remove.
Yeah they are definitely one of the weaker cards in the deck. The main problem with lady decks is the inconsistency, so you can counter the empty deck buff with the spirits, add your best cards back to the deck so you can buff them later, if the lady is at the bottom half of the deck. its all about the VALUE :D
I hope a deck refill will be enough for the deck. I agree that this deck is inconsistent by nature. But also one of the problems was that the cards were not good enough on their before the buffs. So I hope the new high health cards will do the trick.
I'm glad you find it interesting :D .. I took Divine Favor out, as I actually didn't mean to include it with Prince Taldaram.
I am just afraid the deck won't find what it needs fast enough with Flash of Light as the only card recycle. I can already see that we will need to give up on some value cards for card recycles and taunts.
As for silence, I don't think it will be a big issue since most decks either run 1 or no silence cards, and they are very low tempo anyways.
I I totally agree . it's a bit too greedy. But this always ends up to be the case with every theorycraft. You have to actually try it and see what works and what doesn't, and what the deck misses. If you have any suggestions, I would like to refine the deck.

I actually like the idea. Being a Mech as well allows for more magentize targets for Zilliax. I'm sold!

Good catch! It was a last minute edit and I missed it

Update: I added another Deck: Deathrogue [deck]

Druid: I am not sure the deck can be swarmy enough. With the small spells the deck has, you can use Violet Teacher and Sharkfin Fan. Also, Mojomaster Zihi Druid of the Claw and Bite are a bit low tempo for a token deck. And try to fit in Gadgetzan Auctioneer to compensate for Ultimate Infestation.
