    posted a message on NumberSept's N'Zoth Paladin

It's mainly used for it's interaction with N'Z, and the deck lacks taunts.  Added bonus is that opponents will wrongly play around the deathrattle, assuming that you have a dragon in hand.

posted a message on 1st Turn Win! Love this brawl...

This brawl is cracking me up with all of the OTK-ness going on... both in my favor and against.

In my 28th brawl win of the day, I got a 1st turn kill with the coin as Druid.  A first turn kill didn't even occur to me until this popped up.

My starting hand: The Coin, Alexstrasza, Ragnaros the Firelord, Faceless Manipulator, mulligan Ancient of War to get Azure Drake, looking for Innervate.

Opponent Turn 1: Opponent plays 1/6 Taunt Ancient of War.  Kind of a bummer.

My Turn 1: I top deck Innervate! Don't let your dreams be dreams!! Still had to have my Ragnarossi miss his Ancient of War to get the literal OTK.  Played Alex, then Rag, duplicate Rag, and then the Azure Drake for added measure, using the coin and innervate.  Then prayed.

posted a message on All-Mech Fel Cannon tempo deck

I like the idea behind this deck and would be interested to see if it could work.  I don't have the cards for it or else I'd try it out myself.  Might you be able to sacrifice a minion or two for some more spells -- say 2x Dark Bomb?

posted a message on More than 9 stored decks?

I guess I'm alone in thinking that 9 decks is plenty.  I usually rotate between 2 or 3 decks for any purpose, and only use the additional slots for different experimentation, but never have a problem creating space.

Why stop at 18 decks?  Why not 27 or 36?  If Blizzard had started us out with 6 or even 3 deck slots, then moved us up to 9, we would have never had this discussion, because 9 would have felt like so many.

Changing Hearthstone to elaborate on the 9-deck format would require much more work than changing a single line of code, and the issue has nothing to do with data storage costs.  Consider that the game is playable on tablets and will very soon be on phones as well.  Hearthstone is the same game, aesthetically across all of these platforms, and I for one do not want the game to be clunked up too much.

    More is not always better.

    Probably the Faceless Manipulator.

    Totally agree.

Played 40 games last night between ranks 5-3, 21 of them were Hunter or Zoo (slightly more Hunter).

I almost only see Warlocks and Hunters. Every Hunter uses deathrattles+secrets, 1 out of 10 Warlocks is a handlock (roughly). Shaman helps against all these types - it is weaker against hunters than against warlocks, though. I see sometimes a mage or a priest, rogues seem to have vanished over night, Once in a while you can see a control warrior or a paladin/shaman. The last two are the rarest.

The meta is all rush/deathrattle, including some big minions like Sludge Belcher. Every Mage/Hunter runs Mad Scientist and well...that's what I see.

So to be successful: counter zoos & deathhunters. The second one is usually harder because of the good beast/deathrattle drops like Web Spinner, Undertaker, Mad Scientist and Haunted Creeper. If anyone knows a bug spray, let me know.

I've had a similar experience -- slightly more than half my matchups have been against Deathhunters or Zoolocks, with a sprinkling of other classes in between.  Until something changes I'd expect a lot more of the same.  Those decks work, and even better -- they work quickly, and are cheap to make.

posted a message on Does any deck run 2 Faceless Manipulators?

If you're just starting out and need other, more vital, cards for certain decks then by all means DE it. I've never run a deck that used two, and while there might be some kind of deck that could, the card would still be worth more to you now as dust if it gets you an epic or legendary you really need.

posted a message on just when i thought this was an aggro meta...

Plus every hunter runs Houndmaster. I think TBK has a place, but would agree with the OP thatBGH can't find a ton of value right now.

posted a message on Noob Legendary Question

Wow the odds of getting 4 of the same legendary in a row must be astronomical. I'd say unlucky, but at least you don't have any tough decisions to dust the 3 extras... I'd probably dust all 4 since that card is rarely if at all useful.

posted a message on Bad Manners (BM) in Hearthstone

I say welcome BMing with all your heart. I was amidst the most epic BM I've ever done, using freeze Mage the other day... Had so much overkill. After needlessly nuking his minions, pinging my own face and whatnot, the coup de grace was supposed to be 2 ice lances to the face... I got one off and then disconnected to forfeit the match. I can only imagine how awesome my opponent felt watching that go down. I'll never BM again.

The scarier thing to me is the friend request post game... Even when I lose a match I'll sometimes get the one message of rage filled with bigoted, foul words... Followed by the instant unfriend. I only add friends through RL or this site now.

You could craft Grommash and have everything you need for a sweet control warrior deck. Seems to be fairing decently in the meta so far.

posted a message on How is this for a control warrior deck in the current meta?

My control warrior deck is nearly identical and Ive been doing we'll so far with it. To me it feels like it lacks in the early game, but if you make it to late game you'll usually win when not committing any large mistakes.

Knowing how to mulligan is key, as with a lot of decks. Starting with the fiery win axe is usually a good start IMO.

I have loatheb in right now, but have thought of removing him. Doesn't seem essential in this deck, especially now that Miracles will be fewer in number.

posted a message on zoolock or miracle deck for current meta and should i spent money on naxx event? HELP PLEASE

I'd go zoo as well. A basic zoo deck with zero legends got me to Rank 1 last season and gets people to legend all the time.  Either way you'll want to unlock all the Naxx cards, which should only take a few weeks to do for free with gold if you do all of your daily quests.

And yea, zoo isn't that easy to play, though there are probably easier decisions/turns more often than other decks. Still a deck that requires much skill to ladder with.
