All this strife over the second card revealed for rogue. I can't wait for there to be some busted card that interacts favorably with this to silence all the Doomsayers in this thread. It's one thing to hype up a strong card, but to whine and wail over a single card that seems 1 mana short of spells from other classes and sets is a little much. Apples and oranges, people.
True, but we haven't seen the whole set yet. Never know where we'll see poisonous crop up. Might not be on a cheaper minion this time around, but there's two more expansions to consider in due time.

Thought I'd share my sentiment from the reveal article here on the forum, since I see a number of posters aren't seeing the potential of generating 1 health minions for your opponent.
I like your moxy. Also a little side bonus is that cards like this can water down big priests resurrection mechanics.
I do want to say though that it's sad to me that this is a four card combo that is arguably on par (better in some cases worse in others) with ultimate infestation for the same mana cost and three less cards.
Thanks! That's very astute comparison to Ultimate Infestation, I had not thought about it like that. I am all the more excited to give this a roll, as I am quite sad to see the current state of warrior.
I am not typically interested in fan-made nerfs, however this does seem to be fair compromise. Unfortunately, I do not think a nerf like this is very high on their priorities, because they've made it clear they intend for certain cards to be far above, and others to be far below the mean power level.
I am impressed by this card. And like many of you, I will probably cheer when I draw it at an opportune time, and curse its creation when it's used against me. However, I am quite excited to see the inclusion of more minion-based sources of damage and removal as a result of this entering the meta.

I came to the forum to say exactly this. As I had pointed out before, in the reveal schedule, I was expecting Lord Godfrey and Archmage Arugal to be the two mage legendaries this expansion. Makes me all-the-more curious who will be going to mage along with Archmage Arugal.
Each class gets two. I agree Arugal is definitely prime Mage territory. Also, I am now aware I am wrong that Lord Godfrey would go to the mage repertoire. It is the second warlock legendary revealed.

Hunting Mastiff + any poison minion using Build a Beast means as many big threat removals as you can afford!

I could see this having some nice synergy with Frothing Berserker. Maybe arena tier, but it's never bad to see tempo warrior pick up some new tools.
