In my first game with this card, when I tried to play it, the animation would begin but would cancel before the choose one options appeared. I never got to play it all game....known bug or just me?
Hilariously, this card is literally unplayable in other classes if obtained through rng and added to the hand instead of summoned, such as Rogue's Swashburglar, since other classes don't have overload cards (unless they get some through additional rng).
I doubt it's a passive hero power letting you choose cards to discard. Why? Because by the time you play the DK, your hand will be empty from all the previous discarding. And remember you won't have lifetap after switching.
My guess is something like "Battlecry: for the rest of the game, you choose which cards to discard." With a Hero Power like "Draw 2 cards. Take 2 damage." This lets you keep going with the Discard strategy into the lategame.
I went 12-2 recently with a Paladin deck containing Deathwing, Gruul, and 2 Spikeridged Steed, among other gems. Each of these cards won me at least one game each singlehandedly.
But Deathwing was definitely the MVP.
Fun fact: in the draft when I was offered DW, I was also offered DW Dragonlord at the same time. Easy choice there.
FYI, you aren't limited to 18 extra cards. You can shuffle additional copies of Dead Man's Hand into your deck and infinitely chain them, as long as you only play one when holding another.

Good news: Hallazeal's effect animation was drastically sped up after the latest patch.

1. play Krul to summon Felguard and Lakkari taunts without their battlecries going off.
2. Play DK to revivie demon taunts.
3. Profit

I just went 12-2 on the free arena run, and all I got was 490 gold and the usual card pack. Don't retire.

Literally burst out laughing reading that card text. Crafting this first day for the memes.
