Although it's one of my favorite decks, I think that I'm not being subjective when saying that Face Hunter was and always will be one of the most skill rewarding decks, that even in times when it wasn't top of the meta could get you decent win rate.

Because of its hero power to deal face damage, and basically only that... the class seems pretty well set on being aggressive and I've never been a fan of playing as aggro or against it. So there's my vote.
On a side note, I really like that they gave hunter a card like Dwarven Sharpshooter to augment their hero power so that they could potentially play less aggressively. And in the past there was that other card that turned your hero power into a buff or something, which was neat.
I would definitely like hunter more if there were some more control options in standard.

I’ve never heard of this Tickatus thing before. Why wasn’t a thread about this made earlier?

That's kinda the way I imagined wild.
"man, it's hard to balance all these cards and we keep making more... what if we had this big dumpster we can put a bunch of cards every year and forget about them? we can pretend it's a feature!"

DUDE....Hearthstone fucking SUCKS. It is living off of the reputation it established 5 years ago when it was a (mostly) very very very good game. It fucking sucks now, though. I feel sorry for anyone trying to actually play it now and never having experienced when it actually WAS fun to play.

You are not alone in hating this meta. It is awful. And it's not just shaman. Rogue is completely out of control too. The value they can create is ridiculous. And that stupid card that creates new combo cards is an endless resource generator. Including more copies of Edwin. It's a joke, and the balance team should be ashamed of themselves.
The poor Whirlkick Master... released in the Uldum expansion, and only now, right before rotation, finds her spot in the meta, and suddenly it's a disgraceful card.
Obviously, if this card was the problem, people would have used it back when it came out. So what is the real culprit here?

Huffer to 3/2
Misha to 3/4
Poor leokk can stay the same.
Now you can discover which.

I mean yeah, DH is basically better at everything that hunter does. DH crushes hunter and almost every other deck that hunter can beat + more.
That's a big issue with DH, which is becoming a meme with blizzard.
But I don't think hunter has gotten bad cards, they have got some insane cards this expansion, the think is: They are all so boring.
It seems like hunter only got face dmg and summons instead of some unique flavor.
But tbh, the hunter cards look scary enough to be playable, even if DH basically got the most broken card in the whole expansion.
So I do think you've got a point somewhere, just not on the animal companion part. Discover an animal companion would probably make it a 4 cost, and I think hunter would rather have a random 3 cost companion than a 4 cost

would like this reply more times if I could... f2p hunter dedicated player here... Animal Companion is great as it is, makes the cut in an insane amount of decks already and hunter has enough options if they don't want the randomness.

This post should honestly be deleted or moved to the salt section, sorry dude but there is just so much wrong with that idea.
It's not like hunter is a fun class to play against, especially with all hunters emote spamming, and you think you don't have enough power?
This is a bit of a snowflake post

this card may be boring but it's honestly fantastic. sad that it doesn't do anything new, but hard card-advantage like this is nothing to scoff at, especially considering it doesn't need to be in your hand to buff its draw effect. Hunter could have used something like this, but hey, a worse Flark's Boom Zooka was pretty vital for Hunter's catalogue of terrible Legendaries!
good lord I'm bitter

It wouldn't be a new Hearthstone expansion without unplayable Hunter Epics and bland, unoriginal Hunter Legendaries! I've been consistently disappointed with the direction they've taken Hunter each expansion that I've basically given up hope that they'll ever do anything interesting with it. Exceptionally annoying is that Mage got a stronger version of this card for the same Mana cost.

Has anybody asked how Guess the Weight works if your next card is the same cost as what you got? That would be an automatic loss right? No dice?
