Honestly all I play is Priest. My last Thought Steal netted me a Blade Flurry and a Deadly Poison...Not sure if anyone noticed but I don't have any weapons lol. I use Thought Steal and hope to get something that can delay till my end game cards come up. That is really the strategy for Priests at the moment. Delay, delay, delay. Rarely do my Thought Steal cards win the actual game.

As someone pointed out a Priest can win by turn 6 or 8 but end up not winning the game till like turn 30 lol. Right now with all of the aggro heavy decks we are also quite weak. I have toyed around with some aggro Priest stuff but the synergy just isn't there. 

I would also point out to everyone that running out of cards and Thought Steal don't have anything to do with each other. Thought Steal doesn't make you draw cards so you aren't speeding up fatigue or anything like that. Also, you guys suggest negligible fatigue games, play some control Priest lol. I would say a good 10-20% of my games in any given day end via fatigue lol (it makes it really fun to use my entire deck haha).

Finally Roland I would just point out that it is true, right now Priest is pretty heavily regarded as one of the bottom classes in the game. So even if it was considered a minor advantage it still doesn't balance out the negative elements of Priest. This is also one method to produce balance, make a class weaker while giving them a singular ability that, by itself, is considered over-powered, but when implemented in conjunction with the rest of the class is really actually somewhat balanced.

I would vote for The Black Knight if you play a lot of control decks honestly. Ysera is a good second option. Those are probably the two best in control decks, but Bloodmage does pair well with Mage decks since you mentioned playing Mage a lot.

That and they are not gonna show only a Druid class card and not anything for the rest of the classes. I expect them to start ramping up the publicity for it in the next couple of months and show like two classes a month until they launch it. So that is what maybe 3-4 months from now? Just a guess. Run a couple of low cost spell power minions and arcane explosions. Maybe a couple of wild pyros? I lose a lot to zoo and Murloc decks (I play as a priest) but my holy nova basically stabilizes me on games I win. Try and bait out their soulfires and just. Lear the board every chance you get where it makes sense. Lucky for me I have heals to stabilize myself but like I said I lose as many as I win. Just have to resign to that fact I think:/.

Put the other dragons in place of mind vision And gadgetzan auctioneer. Your deck seems like a combination of 4 people's decks which makes me think it could have some better synergy if you went 100% your own thing. Shadowform+ dragons might work, just clean up some of the random cards and see how it does :) .

I have played Priest since I got in the beta. Now I am working on my all gold decks for Priest haha. Hope I chose the right class ;) . I do wonder what Naxx will bring for us though. I know Blizzard said that basically it was easier to introduce new things in the game to balance the old ones instead of just balancing cards. Pretty sure I read that (or maybe I am making it up ;) ).

So 40 % of my games are against warlock and hunter, I guess they're just popular classes because of their effectiveness and relatively cheap cost. Either way though I think that every class is decently represented, not sure the QQ about lock/hunter.

These decks are definitely winning decks, but really they are cheap so newer players (since it just launched) won't have the cards to make decks like control warrior or what not. I do agree it kind of sucks...Even when I play my Priest perfectly I lose like 60% of my games vs hunter and warlock. But hey, those 40% keep me coming back lol.

I'm down for Phoenix but I kind of work all day during the weekend so it would have to be like a weds or thurs heh.

Honestly I ran Temple Enforcers before I had epics and legendaries. They are decent but they died to a lot at higher ranks last time I used them. Plus they don't help much early game ;). 

Lets talk about how you mulligan versus other classes. When you play against Warlocks do you just assume Zoo? Just curious if you mulligan for the combo Ancirnt Watcher every time or if you look for say Thoughtsteal in your opening hand versus control Warior? 

PS what rank is everyone right now? Honestly I haven't played a lot this season and I went on tilt pretty bad the first time I hit rank 15 and fell to 19 which really didn't motivate me to play as much lol. Back to 15 now, finally off a little early today so I'll probably make a run for 10+ tonight.

Personally, I suspect Blizzard will make almost no money from "serious" players with Naxx. Virtually all of them will buy it for gold, whereas virtually all the sales will come from more casual players.

Fair enough on that...I just don't find the computer players hard unless you use a default deck, and even at this point I don't consider them hard with that haha. I am wondering how my decks and the default decks will match up against this PvE mode though, makes me excited to think about lol. Anyways good call though, I shall take back my statement :) .

Won't see 500g for almost a month? Even if all your dailies are 40g, and you do just those and nothing else, you'd have 500g in 12 days.

Casual player probably only play a few games in a session, and probably don't play a session every day. They might only finish one or two quests a week.

 

I disagree with this. I consider myself pretty casual as I don't play every day. But I definitely complete all of my daily quests every three days. It isn't that hard. Spend your time all at once or for a few games a day and you can easily do the dailies every day. I think people who are playing any less than that can either spend the real money or just not purchase it...I mean if you aren't even concerned with getting all of the vanilla cards then why worry about a few more? That at least makes sense in my head...And if the casual player does have all of the cards (chances are real money was spent) then just save gold or drop some real money...I'd like to see a poll on how many HS players own other Blizzard games...I would be willing to bet that a majority of them do, so if you have disposable income for those then chances are you do for a Hearthstone "expansion" too ;) . Just my two cents.

Always maximum greed with Priest lol. Yeah, I am not a fan of Velen myself. It combos well with some stuff but there are a lot of counters and in my experience your opponent always has those counters lol. And yeah, actually I forgot about twilight drake, good card unless you are facing Shaman (stupid earthshock lol). 

LOL if that is why you don't play Priest then have fun with another class lol. Honestly I can't count the number of times Thoughtsteal as won me a game. I think the last Rogue I played I got a Deadly Poison and didn't steal a weapon...Boohoo...I still won haha. Honestly don't discount Priests because you had one or two bad Thoughtsteals...If I counted on that card for wins I would be at like 10% win rates lol.
