mandelised posted a message on Finja mechanic is a fucking jokePosted in: General DiscussionQuote from GhostTrickx1 >>Quote from Justice171 >>You might find comfort in the wording of Finja, the Flying Star.
"Whenever this attacks and kills a minion, summon two murlocs from your deck"
Notice how this is written in the current present. So:
1) Finja attacks
2) Finja is killing a minion
3) Because it is killing a minion, it is now summoning 2 murlocs from your deck
4) Summoned murlocs affect the board (giving your Finja extra stats)
5) Death of minions who are still below 0 healthYou can't kill a minion and have the minion alive at the same time. If the minion Finja kills is dead, then that means Finja is dead too. They should both disappear. Again, this isn't up for debate. Death of the minion happens before Finja's effect can take place. According to the text. If Finja's effect happens before both minions are dead, then it's text is lying. His effect is currently happening before he has killed anything. Your logic is flawed. I will end the debate like this. If Finja attacks and kills a murloc, but the pre nerf Warleader comes out and the murloc Finja killed is still alive, then Finja's effect shouldn't have taken place. In this scenario, we have proof that Finja's effect is broken and he should die regardless of warleaders he summons. End of story. However its not "his" logic its the game's mechanics logic it has to have an order of calculation and that is the order of calculation, the game needs Finja on the board so it has the instruction set of "summon two murlocs" if Finja has gone so are the instructions The wording could be clearer but from a programming POV thats how they work it, and yes it means for one particular summoned murloc its broken -

Finja attacks. Because of the Trigger-word "whenever", it is and attack Event and it is checked during the attack whether she (or is it a he?) will kill the attacked minion with her present attack (probably 2). => since this is the case with a 4/2, the effect takes place and she summons a Murloc Warleader => Since finja is a murloc, she receives +1 health and survives.
That's how I understand it.

Haussenfuss posted a message on How long do you think it'll take Blizzard to balance their game?Posted in: General DiscussionFWIW - HSReplays is currently tracking 22 decks with win-rates above 50%, which appears to be unprecedented. I've screen-shotted the website every week since Un'Goro launched, and the previous "record" was 16. For only the second time in the past year, every class fields at least one deck above 50%, and all but Shaman are capable of fielding at least two. I've found that the meaning which most folks attach to the term "balance" on casual gaming sites like Hearthpwn amounts to something like, "I don't like it . . ." It isn't a particularly helpful way of engaging with the community, but lots of folks don't really care, and when they don't like something, they find value in simply bitching about it.
There are some well-discussed tweaks that would be helpful for the game - nerfs to Call to Arms, Spiteful Summoner and Possessed Lackey have been mentioned at length, and all of them seem appropriate. It's also worthwhile remembering that there have been regular balance patches to this game since the format split two years ago - roughly two months after every expansion, or adventure, the devs have nerfed problematic cards. This hasn't made any impression on lots of folks, who prefer to pretend that Blizzard isn't engaged with their own game. It's also worth recalling that nerfs have usually rolled out after the first "big" HCT event - the Summer play-downs finish in May, so it seems likely that the WW balance patch will drop at the end of this month, or the beginning of next. We'll have to wait and see . . .

Flavor Text: "Don't argue with him, he wins every discussion."
This card fits really well into Priest decks with Mass Dispel and especially Silence, so you can play Voice Stealer with it on turn 4 and get a 5/4. As well, Priests can help the Voice Stealer with the problem that he always has relatively low health.
Also, he can protect your minions from being silenced, because he represents a permanent thread if getting buffed, be he has really low base health, so the best case scenario is to play a Voice Stealer behind a silence-likely Taunt like Sludge Belcher, Sunwalker or even Tirion Fordring.

Thanks for your feedback, it's really helpful :) I already changed the stats of Merciless Judge to 7/7, but i forgot to upload it. He potentally can bring you back into the game and even get you ahead, but as long as he is on the board, you cant play your own big cards like Tirion Fordring, Guardian of Kings, Ragnaros the Firelord and so. Also, this card hasn't got that high value against Aggro, because it's likely to destroy only little cards. But nevertheless, nice feedback :D
Also, I uploaded some new cards, hope you enjoy it.

Sharial: I think Sharial is fairly priced. The body with stealth is worth 4 mana, destroy your opponents weapon about 1 mana (see Sabotage), and the second effect is also 1 mana worth, because it can be worse (Light's Justice), the same (Stormforged Axe), or way better (Gorehowl) than Deadly Poison. But because its a Legendary (which i count as -1), 6 mana is fine. And 6 mana isnt easy to combo, thats why no one plays Kidnapper.
Vakeron: If i made him 4 mana, he would have to compete with Chillwind Yeti, which has 1 more attack, and worst case scenario, Vakeron will damage only your stuff and heal your opponent. So: The Body is worth 3.5 mana, the mand bomber and the healing effect together are worth 1 mana, the legendary status is worth -1 mana = 3.5 mana, I rounded down = 3 mana.
Jazmin Bloodlove: Yeah maybe she's underpriced. The body pls charge is worth 5 mana. Now we look at her effect. Cenarius gives your minions +2/+2 immediately, and he's a 6 mana body, so his ability costs 3 mana. Thus a +2 buff should cost 1.5, but because it's a Deathrattle which does'nt come immediately, it's 1 mana worth. That means 5 mana body + 1 mana ability = 6 mana (@Triskaidekaphilia Why should a +2 buff cost 4 mana, especially if it's not a Battlecry?)
Merciless Judge: The body is worth 7.5 mana, and the ability 1 mana because it' s recurring ( it will kill your own minions like Sunwalker, Guardian of Kings, Tirion or Rag too). And it is in range of BGH, which is bad, because no one likes his minion to get BGHed. But all in all, a 7/7 would be fine too. (The ability actually is: Destroy another random minion. I just forgot the "another")
Scarlet General: A permanent debuff has'nt got a high worth, maybe 0.5-1 mana (Humility, Aldor Peacekeeper), plus this is only for Deathrattle minions. It will make your opponent's Sylvanas a 3/5 or the Highmane a 4/5, but out of that, the ability it is'nt really usefull, so at least it needs a solid body, like Temple Enforcer. I think 6/6 is perfectly fine.
