It's nothing to sneeze at until the 4 8/8's get wiped out the next turn as seemingly every class has a way to deal with these types of threats now.

Anatak89 posted a message on how do you tell what your opponent plays?Posted in: General DiscussionI think he was asking more "how do you know before the first turn is even played". Some people like to say "oh, they mulliganed all 3 (or 4) of their cards, they're obviously control", but really, it's still just a luck thing.
Most decks in today's meta, though, just rely on creating their own win condition regardless of what the opponent is playing (spell druid just needs ramp, any warrior just needs Skipper or Corsair Cache). If you're mulliganing to counter the opponent, as opposed to just furthering your own win condition, I think you're already a step behind your opponent.

I'm playing highlander quest shaman but it's still not truly competitive. We need a few more good battlecries to push it to the limit. A 2-mana burst on one turn would also help.

Priest every single time. Playing against it is just way too boring.

"Sometimes works, sometimes fails miserably" isn't exactly a recipe for unfairness. Why did you drop a 4th minion alongside your sea giant in a world with MCT?"
Oh, yeah. Because your sea giant in "unfair" and you wanted to win.
