Summons a Poop Elemental, therefore it will see play, 5-star card, meta warping, wild ban speedrun, nerfed in first patch post expansion, literally breaks the game
Always keep a Defias Leper if you have a Shadow spell in the Mulligan, especially low cost ones like Shadow Word: Devour and Thrive in the Shadows. You will want to keep Shadowcloth Needle when facing against more aggressive classes like Demon Hunter, Mech Mage, Mech Paladin and Murloc Warlock.
Voidtouched Attendant is critical to being able to push enough damage to finish games but the best replacement I can think of would be a second Vicious Slitherspear and Psychic Conjurer. Craft it if you enjoy a more aggressive Priest but otherwise I would wait.
The deck definitely suffers against board heavy decks like Mech Mage, Mech Paladin and Murloc Warlock.
I have gone toe to toe with control decks but they can often be losses without the correct starting hand.
I think there can be some deck improvements made, especially with the new Shadow spell Drown just being added. I'm hopeful that Shadow can at least be a viable archetype because it's sure a hell of a lot cooler than... Boar Priest.
Hahaha I know how you felt when it came to Lion's Frenzy. It's one of those cards that looks completely trash from the outset (I heard many people pre expansion launch calling it a 1 star card) until you're sitting on with 15 attack. Thanks for giving the deck a go!
Pretty much. Plus I found that Chaos Strike was just a tad too slow of a draw card and we don't have any Fel synergies in this version of Quest Demon Hunter. As a 2-cost we'd rather be playing Spectral Sight or developing the board a little. Wandmaker is a bit of a sketchy card sometimes but definitely does what we need it to do.
Thanks for giving the deck a try! Glide is absolutely the star of so many games, and I've found since we draw so many cards already you only need one to make your opponent insta-concede in certain matchups since so many people hold full hands like you mentioned. Wow, you're ahead of me, I'm still at Platinum 3. Good luck on the rest of your grind to Legend!
Thanks for trying out the deck! You pretty much summed up why I love this style of Demon Hunter. Tradeable is absolutely busted with the Quest, nobody tell Blizzard!
Thanks for trying out the deck! I agree with you about Vashj and Malygos. Malygos is dead in hand about half the time and the half it doesn't get played is often bad enough to get steamrolled. While I would love the combo to work, it rarely does, so I'm going to remove it from the deck. I have played a successful Vashj Prime only TWICE ever out of around 50 games, so it is definitely not drawn enough in this deck to see an inclusion also.
I actually tried a version with Arcane Watcher, and you are spot on, it is a very good threat for it's cost in this deck.
This is true, I've been experimenting with a both a normal and highlander variant with copies of Doomsayer, Frost Nova, Blizzard and Flamestrike to fix board issues but it is still extremely difficult to pull it off.
Unfortunately yes it really only works in math, which was my fear with the deck. I was hoping that it would be possible to refine the list further to allow for an easier combo but after playing numerous games that doesn't seem possible at the moment. Still, someone might be able to make it work in the future. Thank you!
The idea is that you use card draw from various cards like Elemental Allies, Stargazer Luna and of course Arcane Intellect to get Zephrys active. It's fairly likely you'll be able to draw enough cards in time, and even if you can't, he also activates Elemental Allies.
Well its obvious that it can be good although I would rather it be a neutral, it just doesn't directly synergize with any viable decks. They should of made either a legendary for aggro shaman, murloc shaman, or another for quest shaman instead of this.
Yeah, I would've liked a Murloc Shaman Legendary too personally, but we'll just have to wait and see with the Shaman Galakrond I guess.
Okay, definitely an underrated card then so far! Thank you for letting me know. Hir'eek is definitely batshit (hah) crazy with it, I didn't even realize since I'm pretty sure I'm hardwired to completely ignore that card under normal circumstances.

To improve the consistency of having enough Arcane Missiles I considered adding Witchwood Piper to grab Violet Spellwing alongside Cobalt Spellkin which would also help to clear the board.
If that isn't enough I might let this concept be for now, but if you any further ideas let me know.

I absolutely agree, critically undervalued card right now. I went through the list of Legendaries in Standard, here are some great/good/decent ones you can get: Akali, the Rhino, Al'Akir the Windlord, Barista Lynchen, Catrina Muerte, Cenarius, Darius Crowley, Electra Stormsurge, Flik Skyshiv, Kalecgos, King Phaoris, Lord Godfrey, both Malygos', Emeriss, Sathrovarr, Octosari, Tirion Fordring, Veranus, Valdris Felgorge, Swampqueen Hagatha, both Yseras, Zilliax, Colossus of the Moon, Hir'eek, the Bat, Siamat, Shu'ma and probably a couple I'm missing.
