I had Sludge Slurper in the list before this version and it wasn't that bad.

I haven't tried Sandstorm Elemental. VS Galakrond/Highlander Galakrond Rogue this card probably shines as they tend to spam lackeys. Maybe cut Licensed Adventurer for it?

• I've experimented with (-1 Flamestrike |+1 Meteor) but honestly it's not that good because this deck already runs x2 Voodoo Doll which offers a nuke and Jaina synergy.

• I treat Archmage Arugal + Arcane Intellect as a reload combo & try to reserve them for being played on the same turn.

• Most of the game you are juggling hand size. I think the optimal time to use the combo is ~ or post turn 8/10 IF you played Steam Surger without synergy or played Lesser Ruby Spellstone(s) for 1.

I'm heading out to a Tavern Hero Qualifier tomorrow (mostly for Nemsey) & I'm looking for a training partner to help me run some match-ups.

I've decided on bringing:

Easy fix, take it down one manna.

What it should have been. Introduce some kind of spider mechanic that will allow Hadronox to see some play.

Pretty good vs aggro decks. You take the initial damage and any other damage dealt to you will will be 0. Can counter (quest mage -  pre Archmage Antonidas - skill heavy usage).

Goodbye Water Elemental? This could fit into some sort of Quest Mage / Elemental package / Highlader Deck. Or all 3? Solid card.
