Currently ramp paladin is probably the best deck to make your climb with. I've also had good success recently with aggro demon hunter as well as ETC warrior. My advice is to pick a deck you have a positive winrate with and just keep grinding. The more you switch decks the more you'll make silly mistakes. Good luck!
My biggest issue with the achievements system is that it doesn't seem to take into account previous progress. Some of the more lengthy quests feel like they should be either completed or at least have significant progress on them; it makes it feel as though playing the game for a long time means nothing towards the achievements.
There also seems to be issues with the achievements that do take into account old data. For instance, I have reached legend in both Standard and Wild, but for some reason I have the achievement for hitting legend in Standard but not the one for Wild showing up.
On top of that, the system also seems to have some bugs. The game gave me a completion on the quest to control 7 of the same minion on your board when I had three snakes, three hounds, and a Kayn on my board. I'm not complaining too much about getting a free achievement, but it's a bit concerning that the system doesn't seem to be working completely correctly.
My personal favorite deck currently is Bomb Warrior. It's around Tier 2 and is a fun deck to play with some skill testing elements to it. It's also not crazy expensive to craft
I don't think it was a bug. Since you had played the two incanter's flows, your most expensive spell (Arcane Intellect) only cost one. Since the arcane intellect and the spellwing each cost 1, they were ordered randomly amongst each other. Basically, Polkelt ordered your deck, but it took into account the Incanters cost lowering when it ordered the deck.
You absolutely can, I didn’t put him in the list mainly because I wanted to make the deck as accessible as possible for budget players. If you’re planning on running Jepetto I would recommend cutting the mortal coil for it.

I believe that it will get corrupted. In the reveal stream they were discussing how discounted cards become easier to corrupt at one point.

Not a bad idea for the Summoning Portal substitution! And unfortunate that the Spellbender got in your way lol
