Impermanence is the only constant. All suffering arises from resisting this truth.
Disagree, unless you're talking about loss much of the suffering people go through in this world is because they find themselves stuck in positions where nothing ever changes.
Also fuck Reno Priest, don't care if it's barely viable, it's one of the most BORING and INFURIATING decks ever, terrible experience, it's only behind Big Priest and Secret Mage. HOPE YOU HOUSE GETS OBLITERATED AS WELL.
Fuck every Warlock combo deck, "oh, I'll just throw in a billion removal and healing effects coupled with massive mana cheating, this sure is the peak of the Hearthstone experience". Hope your house gets obliterated with a missile strike, maybe then you'll now how it's like to feel helpless.
The discover mechanic is really problematic with Death Knight right now. The spell pool is so small that not only always gives you good spells, but it also allows you to bypass deckbuilding rune restrictions. The problem is that if they make it so you can only discover spells that match your runes, the options will be even more consistent. There's just no escape, even when they try to balance the power level of something they somehow manage to fuck things up.
You know why I don't mind Burgle Rogue? Because it's an inherently fun strategy, based around the strenghts of a digital card game while also requiring a decent level of adaptability from the player. You know why I hate Thief Priest? Because it uses these same strenghts in a very lazy and obnoxious way while requiring almost nothing from player, just that they queue into an opponent who is running a deck with good cards, which is almost always the case.
Dude, Even Shaman and Secret Mage were literally the only decks that kept a higher thant 50% winrate tduring the Wild Discolock domination. Big Shaman was so prevalent that you couldn't go an hour without facing at least one. When was the last time you played Wild, 2018?
It's because Warrior's class identity leans toward a more controlish playstyle, and the team obviously likes the games to be as fast as possible. Proof is that Death Knight, the new class, sucks ass, and the only viable Priest decks are centered around combos.
Oh yeah because the game is sooooo fun with no midrange and aggro in the meta.
Look at quest dh and the rogue decks - this happens with no aggro and midrange around to keep them in line.
Only renathal or combo decks in the meta is not enough,
What happens is that slow decks are ALWAYS the ones damaged the most. When there's too much aggro on ladder you people say "see, it's necessary to keep combo on check", but when there's too much combo on ladder you say "see, we need more aggro". Why only aggro and combo get to be busted and popular? Why even print control cards anymore if they just nerf them when it gets a little too popular? Actually, I know why, it's because since the release of the mobile version Hearthstone turned into a game designed to be played when you're sitting on the toilet, so the faster the games the better :)
