Invigorating Sermon works surprisingly well in Even Pally, I put it on one of my decks too, and when you can get it right agter a Call to Arms it's pretty good. Props for trying to make a Caravan card work.

Gee, how boring Priest players must be if the community chosen deck for Wild is Big Priest (and right after a new expansion)......

posted a message on Warlock players are most cancerous?

Every day or hour really a new thread about how "X class is op and inherently toxic". I feel like Standard might not be the bed of roses they want us to believe it is. Or maybe people really do think that the game should adjust to their specific needs. It's okay to complain online, in fact, it's the best place to mindlessly whine about something you dislike, but don't think that they will magically satisfy your demands out of nowhere.

We have to wait a week for nerfs.

You people wouldn't survive a single wild meta.

Duh, avoiding Wild is a conscious choice for sane people that prefer a healthy and somewhat balanced Meta. Rather than an absolute unplayable clownfiesta of a game mode.

Yeah, enjoying your cards for only a predefined amount of time before being forced to spend more money and dust is a sane choice.

Not spending 5000 $ on a Game, that earns you NOTHING in return, and is just a mere time filler of your AMAZING life now THAT is a sane Choice my friend. : (

Oh boy, do I always laugh in pity at those "cool" Wild players like you trying to get into an argument and defending what they are doing is the right thing  whilst I do know you've spent 5000+ on HS already making it the center piece of your life, while so many smarter people get by, by not spending anything, and simply avoiding the never balanced cancer show which is Wild.

Disenchanting rotating cards is an absolute necessity if you want to play Hearthstone whilst spending an absolute minimum. Duh, I thought that is self-explanatory, There are no two choices anyways, Budget players can ONLY play Standart. (or Classic mode)

Clearly you don’t understand wild players. I am a wild player, and no, I have not spent $5000 on the game. I haven’t spent money on cards since whispers of the old gods. The best part about wild is that you DONT HAVE TO SPEND MONEY. You figure out a few decks you like, and then when new expansions roll around, there might be a few new cards you want and you can easily get enough dust from gold to make them. Eventually, you can even build up enough extra dust to craft an entirely different deck and then maintain more than a couple decks. It’s really not difficult to get cards for wild, you just simply don’t disenchant cards that could ever be useful/fun to play.

He's been brainwashed to keep supporting the money milking system that is the Standard rotation, it's no use trying to explain, he probably never even touched Wild mode, but still is spreading misinformation around the internet. If he really were one of those "smarter people" he mentioned he should know that a card kept is 40/100/400/1600 worth of dust in use instead of 5/20/100/400 stored.

Jesus Christ, if I'm playing casual and see a Big Priest, I swear I'll go and personally murder every single player of this deck + the devs who had the brilliant idea of approving its existence.

That's Big Priest players for ya. They only know how to play decks that go full curvestone and requires only a single card to be played each turn (and these cards are always in the same order, meaning the games are always pretty much the same), and whe they can't abuse poorly thought out design decision anymore because the meta knows how to counter it (see Death and Taxes Paladin) they resort to spread their cancerous tumor of a deck in a format where they know that minimum effort is required because their opponents will be playing just for fun, even less so than when it was relevant in the meta.

God, I hate Big Priest so fucking much, you can call me an hypocrite for blaming the players, and indeed, I AM being a hypocrite now, but it's just because I can't help but take it personally. If you play this deck you can ROT IN HELL.

I thought it was supposed to highlight that there's a new game mode, just like the Tavern or Adventure tabs are blue when there's new stuff, but I've played Classic games since and nothing changed, so I guess it really is a visual bug and a very annoying one.

Yeah, sure buddy, you've seen my bank account and my Battle.net wallet, of course you know what you are talking about. Having to stop playing cards I like because I want to stay relevant? Now THAT'S a really fun experience. Might as well stop playing the game entirely then. I'll tell you what, I've been playing this game since 2015 with some really long pauses, and the only money I've spent was for the League of Explorers adventure and the first Scholomance bundle with two legendaries last year (the one with 20 packs), and I'm glad to say that I'm currently playing every deck I'd like to play.

It also doesn't make sense because Wild archeypes are prevalent for longer periods of time. You can still play Secret Mage, Odd Paladin, Pirate Warrior, Big Priest, Renolock, decks that have appeared years ago and are still relevant to this day. The dust you've spent in Standard cards years ago is still useful here in Wild as we speak. It's a FACT that, in the long term, your dust is more well spent in Wild cards and that the main goal of the rotation system is to make people buy those expensive pre-release bundles. If Standard really were that cheaper, meaning less real money is spent, the company would've given up on the system already.

And you talk about Wild balancing like Standard is not bad as well, every couple months (or even weeks sometimes, given the rise of Stealth Rogue after the Evolve Shaman nerfs) there are decks that break the format, leading to many nerf requests until the deck is killed and the next broken deck can appear. Standard moves from broken deck to broken deck in a way more faster pace than Wild, that's the main difference, your frustration will still be mostly the same. In fact, Standard at the moment is more degenerate and unfun than Wild.

The new Death and Taxes Paladin may be annoying, but I don't mind seeing it more if that means less Big Priest.

Enjoy your time Darksider.  We Res Priests are patient and our time will come again.   *twiddles evil moustache*  #mwuhaha

Maybe will never go back, maybe come back next expansion then in the end of the year they screw priest again after monetize enough of both expansions. Priest ress meta or combo or whatever broken shit they invent (they think broken shit is priest identity, ok) will never stick standard anymore due several reasons but the mostly important is money.
When a player keep playing against an annoying deck many times in a row and many players keep facing mirror matches this makes them lose money, due many players stop buying stuff, they suffered that untill rastakan rotation (frozen trone before) to rise of shadows and so on... they realized that with less annoying decks around and more different variety of decks around they keep the players playing their game.
I Hope never come back, they can turn priest into another Pally Aggro 3.0 - there tons of spells and options to viabilize the class to an aggro or tempo level. Even Egg metas again are fun, but the other priest meta are horrible to play with it and play against it, too much time, too much effort wasted.

Yup. Priest has a lot of cool tempo minions, but not quite enough tools to keep up with kingsbane rogue, pirate warrior or secret paladin. And with all secret paladins running Nerub'ar Weblord they have run pirate warrior and secret mage out of the meta. Reno priest isnt really playable either and big priest has enough stall tools until they Shadow Essence on 4 or 5 that they can still beat paladin if they draw well. Loatheb on curve basically wins that game, and can beat otk mages as well, but isnt really needed. My alt f2p account is climbing pretty efficiently with just Sunkeeper Tarim and Call to Arms and my only expensive cards. Even he isnt that necessary. The new rank spell or Blessing of Might might be more impactful by letting you push significant damage early on Crabrider

They're not even Secret Paladins anymore, it's just "stop your opponent from playing anything" Paladin.

After things settle down Far Watch Post will probably dominate since it can be used in control to disrupt the tempo of aggro decks and in aggro to stall control decks.
