Your deck is good if it works. My quest rouge was elementals only, but i soon added Swashburglar, so when i do the quest i have some cards to keep pressure on my opponent. Half of the time it works, but sometimes it just makes copied minions 5/5 instead of 7/7
To be noted that hunter will run lots of 1-drops, to maximize the chance to complete it early. So more likely you won't draw Patriarch from your deck. But when you will, you'll win even without this quest

This is very crucial. I remember playing Rend in Rafaam vs. Kel'Thuzad brawl. So Rend couldn't kill any of Kel minions, because they had no gem.

So let's think about decks which run some adapt minions, which can be poisonous. So 9/9 is pretty much countered by emperor cobra
