I think it's pretty balanced right now. People are still trying to figure out how to play the new, non-miracle Rogue. I've seen some mill rogues that were really nasty.
So then Shrinkmeister on Sneed's Old Shredder, Shadow Madness on Sneed, attack with Sneed such that Sneed survives and then Recombulator on Sneed results in your opponent being down one legendary, taking 5 points of damage, and you having a 3/2, a 3/2 and a random legendary? All for 8 mana.
Shadow madness only works on minions with 3 or less attack. In your example, you would have to shrink meister twice to get Sneed's Old Shredder with Shadow madness.
Uh... Sneed is 5 attack, brah. Shrink brings him down to 3.
I guess it's a choice kind of linked to your preferred playstyle... it would be more appealing to me, though, if at least it made the Recycled card cost more to play next time.
I guess this card reflects reality... to get rid of a lot of currently owned items (old computers for instance) recycling is about the only option & that winds up costing you.
Or if the minion came back with reduced stats and/or silenced.
It really is a horrible card, I've tested it and it has absolutely no place in any deck for 6 mana. You lose an entire turn to give them back a minion which they will draw into again later. The next turn they just play more threats and you're still behind on the board and they can draw it again in a few turns and replay it.
This. Why would anyone include this card in their deck when there are so many great 6 drops? This card doesn't even synergize well with Druid mill like Naturalize does. I guess if your opponent has a minion that has a battlecry that is game-changingly beneficial to you?!? I wouldn't even call this hard removal since the minion is not removed from the match. At best this card buys you some time by delaying a big threat that would have otherwise killed you.
Troggzor the Earthinator is much better than I expected. Drop him when your opponent doesn't have any minions and it's usually so frustrating for them that they rage quit.
I kid you not, the very first card I opened was Bolvar Fordragon. He'll see a bit of play when the servers go back up, but I'm thinking he's destined for dust.
I underestimated this card when it was announced. I predict that it will be in a LOT of decks. There are just so many combos and so much value to be had.
One question: what happens if you use Shadow Madness and then recombobulate the minion you stole?
I don't have any feature requests or bug reports - my only feedback is that your devs and mods are doing a fantastic job. Seriously - I've been a gamer for a long time and I've never seen a fan/community site so well done and moderated. And I'm a web developer so I have a pretty good sense of how enormous a task it must be to keep the gears oiled and turning (GvG ref intended).

Agreed.

This is a good balance change. Puts Undertaker on par with other neutral 1-drops. Basically a Tidecaller for deathrattle.

Which classes does this hurt most? Hunter and Warlock for sure. Any others? Maybe deathrattle Priest?

Armor for pallys would be interesting and definitely work flavour-wise, but I don't see how it would help much without synergies like shield slam.

I'm not a former MtG person, so can someone explain how the Hearthstone mechanics compare to other CCGs? How do other CCGs provide more depth?

Agree with OP. There is so much merchandising potential. It's surprising the store is so HS-bare.

Well met!
