What bad rated card will be destroying everything? Im always really amused of watching Amaz rating the Roguequest a 1 Star card and then getting wrecked by questrogue in a 30min compilation.

posted a message on Weekly Free Rotation

When I was recently looking for a new deck to play I realised two things: first the dust cost of the most meta decks raised significantly due the latest expansion and it is hard to tell if it a decklist I see on the internet is acutal fun. So in a lot of "free to play" games , mostly in mobas, there is a free hero rotation every week; to let new player test out heroes without spending ingame warrancy or real life money on it. So how about a free legendary (and epic) rotation for hearthstone every week? This would be easier for new players to play with decent decks and it opens up to experiment with certain cards. If I consider crafting a legendary I always look if the card is playable and worth it to craft. This ends up mostly (and Im pretty sure Im not the only one) in netdecking. But when a card is free to use for a week I would definetly try to play around with it try to make a deck that works with it.

Thoughts on this idea? Am I missing a mayor point or is this actually something Blizzard should consider to implement?

posted a message on TTK: Blizzard's inconsistent policy on non-interactive combo decks

Today I asked myself the question why the archetype of the quest/TTK mage was created. In the past Blizzard nerfed every combo possibility ever existed. But where is the difference between warsong-patron warrior and the quest mage. Both play controlllike and finish their opponent in one turn regardless of what board/healthsituation your opponent has. Oh yeah quest mage got 2-4 Iceblocks and infinite Spelldmg (which means your taunt minions wont break the combo). I think its really frustrating to play/loose against quest mage because, it gives you the feeling that the game was decided when in it started. Either the quest mage draws all combo pieces before the last ice block pops or he doesnt and dies.

I think it wouldnt be that frustrating to play against quest mage if I would know why Blizzard is so inconsistent in their idea of what the meta should look like.

Btw I acutally dont say quest mage is op, I just say its not fun and interactive.

posted a message on The Rogue Quest, The Caverns Below, is OP. Nerf it already.

yeez everybody needs to calm down on that rogue thingy.

every expansion the same shit: one half of the hearthstone community is crying about one specific deck and the other one is crying about shaman being tier 1 again. Srsly some decks will counter others and some decks will be more consistent than others; thats how a tgc works. Sry that your Beast 6 Cards OTK Mage isnt working. The fact that there are certain decktypes makes hearthstone playable. Imagine if every combination of cards in a deck would be equally strong; you could not predict shit. A huge part of hearthstone is to figure out what your opponent will play next turn so you can make the optimal play. Im getting really tired of this nerf this and nerf that shit.

posted a message on Will a different ladder system change the meta?

So with the recent discussion about the ladder system being to much grind, I asked myself if the Meta would acutally change, if they implement a more skillbased laddersystem, for example with real placementmatches or something like that. I believe the reason why most people are playing aggro decks (aggro decks have always been super popular) is that they're

    a) very easy compared to a miracle rogue or a renolock (decks which run out of steam very early are bringing a small amount of decisionmaking with them) and

    b) super effective when it comes to a grinding ladder system. You do not only get a reward for playing easy decks but you get an additional reward for playing fast decks. Even if I play a Renolock with a 80% winrate, I will probably have a lower rank than an aggro shaman with a 60% winrate, just because he plays 3x more games than me in the same amount of time.

Aggro Decks are usually only a problem if too many people are playing those kind of decks. The Meta always depends on what people are playing. And if a lot of people are playing aggro decks it cuts down the pool of decks which are promising a good winrate to a small part. I can totally understand why people are playing aggro decks atm. I mean why should I play a Renolock or Freezemage if I can gain 2-3 stars with shaman in the time I play one game with Renolock?
I actually don't see the problem in the card balances right now (regardless Small-Time Buccaneer + Patches the Pirate is too effective) but in the laddersystem.

posted a message on Kolento endless jades (easy rank 5)

I really like the choice of putting in Druid of the Claw and a second Ancient of War. It's really good against all those aggro shamans and warriors. And in most times its easy to win against late game control decks.

posted a message on You Medivh, they concede: Midrange hunter

The idea behind this is that there will be no turn 10 for your opponent. You flood your board with midrange minions (the 3 animal companions) and in addition to that you'll get a 8 drop (and in most cases you still have a Medivh, the Guardian on board). So either you opponent clears the 8 drop / Medivh, the Guardian or he goes for an AOE to kill off the companions. Adding Ball of Spiders or Explosive Shot will make your early/slash midgame weaker and your finish move wont be as affective if your opponent has got the board control.
