I have moved this thread to site feedback and support. Something is triggering the spam filter to go crazy over these new decks. We are trying to fix the problem.
Hey man, I've also been looking back to see if Shadowform Priest can work with all of the new hero-power based cards. I found that maiden of the lake makes this deck work much better and gives another large body to heal.
This deck is an older version. I think the maiden of the lake is a good card, and it has been added to my other decks.
Do you think that another class will try to take advantage of that? Maybe mage since they have a lot of burst, and AoE so they can easily deal with what little health the warlock has.
Edit: I take that back, a warlock deck with a lot of burst and potential heals would probably be better. Best of both worlds. Here's what I think:
Tournament medic is not a great card for this deck. Out of all the matches I've played, the auchenai was the MVP.
Bolf is a bad card. It's a taunt that doesn't deal any recoil damage since you can kill him by attacking the other player's face. Maybe he works in taunt warrior because then you can't kill the warrior by spells and minions. You'd have to go through his taunt wall just to get the Bolf. I think that would be a valid strategy.
Thanks. I might have to forego the shadowform. I like it, but it conflicts with the deck a lot. The auchenai is really good in this deck. It has nothing but combos for it. Fencing Coach, Maiden of the Lake, Garrison Commander, and to top it off it has beautiful synergy with all the inspire cards. I made two decks one with shadowform and one without. We got 1 card that was ok, 3 that were questionable and the rest were just plain unplayable bad.
I disagree. I think priests got some pretty good cards.
Confuse - I think this is an ok card. It might see play in an aggro deck or something similar. Holy Champion - This is a great card. Lightwarden can be pretty scary, and this can get out of control. Flash Heal - I don't like this card. Light of the Naaru essentially heals you for 5 because of the Lightwarden they need to kill because it's very scary in priest. It could see play in some fatigue/grinder priest. Spawn of Shadows - This is a great card if you only care about your opponent's life total. Very good card in that kind of deck. Shadowfiend - This card is very good. It's basically giving you a free coin every time you draw a card with it in play. You can sometimes curve into a 5 drop on turn 4 or do something even crazier with the actual coin. I think this is great in any priest deck, but it can be heavily abused in an aggro priest deck. Confessor Paletress - This is a hard card to judge. I feel like you'd want to use your hero power the turn you play this, making it a 9 drop, or you have to base your deck around inspire. I think it's a good card in theory though. Power Word: Glory - Good against aggro. Not that great against control. It has the same effect as Blessing of Wisdom except against aggro it stops <4 attack minions. Why would they want to attack with a 3 attack minion if you get healed for 1? Convert - I like this card a lot. I think it's a great card with a lot of possibilities. There are a lot of good value cards people play, and being able to just gain of a copy of that is huge. There are also a lot of pretty crazy class cards you can copy. Wyrmrest Agent - Ok stats if the effect doesn't happen. Very, very good stats if it does. It might help make dragon priest a thing in constructed.
To me it looks like he got on some serious roids. Anyway I hope someone comes up with a creative use for him because BGH does pretty much what he is trying to do, and is only 3 mana. I can't think of anything.
This is an investment. In 5 turns you have a 5/5. You're paying 4 mana to get the paladin hero power every turn essentially. I think it's a good card. Especially in a demon deck where you need demons for stuff like Demonfire or maybe even Demonfuse. Even if they killed the buffed up version of the card you get another one. This is pretty much the stickiest minion in the game. It guarantees you something on the board, and there is huge value in that.

Yeah you're right. I forgot about the healing. No sure on Velen though. He'd definitely be good, I just don't know what to take out.
