Dude, just tech in some silence.

That rogue deck is easily countered. Statistically more often than not they will not draw the nuts.

Ever heard of Necrium Blade? Of all games I played against rogue they had these two cards 50% of the time. Somehow.

Kind of like how you Hunter opponent always rolls Huffer.  Somehow.

Also, nerfs WEREN'T delayed. How could they have been delayed when they weren't even confirmed for today?

Someone on twitter had shared a 100% legitimate and not fake at all ''leak'' that they will come out today and they didn't. There was never any confirmation on it. No confirmation, no delay lol

If a Treant falls in the Soul of the Forest, but nobody is there to hear it, does it still make a sound?

I hope they taking into consideration that anubisath rogue is too strong against any midrange and control deck and that some other cards will require tweaks too

Its a cool deck.  Buff it.

To me Rush is the worst mechanic in the game.  It's basically a removal spell that may leave a minion on board, and can also be played as a minion standalone (when there is nothing to rush, or one choses not to attack).  It adds nothing to the game, but has given many decks defensive/swing tools they are not supposed to have.

While some Rush minions are so poorly stated they never saw play, there are a bunch of busted ones / cards that are way too good.  Militia Commander is totally broken.  And since it was replaced in CW with Restless Mummy, it stands to reason that the later is even more broken.  Ziliax and, to a lesser extent, Vicious Scalehide, fit into too many decks, some of which were rather OP.  And lets not even talk about the Corrupted one.

Charge was like rush but 300% times better

Charge, unlike Rush, serves a purpose - it closes out games.  With the flexibility of being an "emergency" rusher.

I am already running a priest deck that can destroy pirate warrior and death rattle rogue, but like every other deck, it struggles against Galakrond shaman. Grave Rune is such a powerful card, especially on Khartut Defender. Without a silence, that is six taunt minions and 18 health. My prediction is that priest will rise in popularity to counter the aggro decks, and silence will be a key part of the new meta because of it. Hardly anyone runs silence right now because an 8/8 rush that is silenced is still going to your face next turn. Sorry if that is a bit of a tangent, good riddance Shaman.

Yeah turn 10 to counter aggro, so OP lol

im countering aggro.. with my albathros priest deck

I could very well be missing the point, but hos is face hunter and pirate warrior at all concerned with you shuffling two 1/1's into their deck that they more than likely won't draw until the game is well over?

Prey animals have endorphin hormones that reduce pain when they are about to be hunted down, but it makes them kind of dopey.  These Priests with their Albatrosses are suffering from the same condition.

No matter.  They will be hunted down, regardless of what they think.

posted a message on I can't win with Galakrond Shaman anymore
    Quote from Scorpyon >>
    Quote from HooliganPolygon >>

I've been playing the game since the beta and if my memory serves me correctly, Galakrond Shaman is the most powerful deck I've ever seen in every spectrum of the game. It has 21 core cards; if you're not getting the results you were hoping to get, then  it's easy to make adjustments in other 9 slots by adding more tech or85 AoE cards... Barista Lynchen and Faceless Corruptor combo creates infinite Shudderwocks which is more than enough to win against almost everything.

    Quote from Scorpyon >>
    Quote from Random_Huffer >>

How do you want to fix the Hunter Hero Power? Making it one dmg it would be the worst class by far.

There's been a wealth of good solutions offered by the community over the years. It doesn't have to just be direct damage.
It could even be something as benign as "Summon a 1/1 beast" to keep in synergy with the Hunter as a class.

I'm sorry, I don't agree. Hunter HP matches with its core set and play mentality. It has its own disadvantages.

Also, you can't emote "I will hunt you down!" and then throw 1/1 Tabbycat on the field,  come on.

It's worked for Paladin since the game was in beta, so no reason it wouldnt do the same here.
And it doesn't limit design space this way, by forcing Hunter to always be aggro-focused.
Also, why does it have to be a Tabby Cat?
A 1/1 tiger would be much more realistic. Or a raptor or something.

If people can emote "That's incredible" and slam down a useless 0/2 totem that does nothing, then dropping a 1/1 beast and emoting "I will hunt you down" should be pretty on point IMHO... ;-) lol

I actually thought you were joking about the Hunter HP, but I now see you are serious.  You might not be thinking clearly, and in need of some time off.  Good thing the holidays are coming up.

    Quote from Inzan1ty >>

Shaman is just so overwhelmingly disgusting right now, that "casual" broken decks like Apothecary Roque almost entirely fell under the radar.

It will be felt once the patch gets released, there are certainlly more disturbing things going on in HS right now apart from Shaman, and Necrium Apothecary is definetly one of the most unhealthy cards in a while, but then again, wise men like TrumpHS already figured that out before Day 1 of this expansion.

Trump always nails these.  Except for  Dr. Boom and Mysterious Challenger.  And Troggzor the Earthinator.

    Quote from Nohva >>

Once again, the Charge-mechanic delivers a problem for Blizzard. I think Apothecary needs a 1-mana bump, even if we didn't have Charge, but it's the atrocious 8/7 Southsea Deckhands and 7/7 Stonetusk Boars that make the deck scarier than it should be.

Yes, it's a Highroll-deck, but just like with all of those decks, it feels incredibly bad to lose to, since there's nothing you can do about it. If untouched, it will destroy Control decks, and that's unhealthy in its very core.

We need more charge minions.  Can't stick non-charge minions on the board because of all these broken rush minions. Give me some good chargers.

    Quote from TheGnegno >>

Apothecary needs a nerf. It is in Barnes territory, and it's double copy. It has also better stats for survivability and follow up with Necrium Vial. If they don't nerf it, we will soon regret the Shaman meta. People don't want to run 26 cards decks to include oozes and spellbreakers. I for sure don't.

And I am not biased, I crafted 2x Apothecary and Sneed to play Big Rogue in Wild.

Rogue expert Jay Alexander doesn't even run Necrium Vial in his version of the deck.  It's a super greedy card.

posted a message on (Poll) Are We Willing to Give up Dust Refunds for Frequent Balance Patches?
    Quote from Live4vrRdieTryn >>

I came to this game from playing a lot of League of Legends. In that game there are regular patches, often twice a month. They tweek this and that and never quite come to perfection but the change at least keeps it from getting stale and gives the player security that if something gets past testing it will be dealt with in a timely manner. If something is too weak, it will eventually get its day in the sun.

Hearthstone is very opposite to this and it drives me absolutely nuts. This game would be so much better if they adopted Riot's model (and most modern game company's for that matter...)

You are overlooking the reasons that frequent balance patches would not be acceptable in Hearthstone.  It's a different game than LOL.

And you are totally clueless is you think dust is the reason Blizzard will not do frequent balance patches.

posted a message on Galakrond Shaman is stealing all the potential from new and creative decks yet to be played!
    Quote from parishbishop >>

The point I was trying to make is that as a long time player, who like to be creative, broken decks like shaman take away from the enjoyment of discovery when a new sets drops. If my new fun creative deck gets wrecked 60% or more, not from being a bad deck, but from playing vs broken decks, then I dont want to play as much, if at all.

Top players (Thijs for example) win well over 60% of the time without playing the most broken deck in the Meta.  If you are losing 60% of the time with your fun/creative decks, you probably have a crap deck.  There is also another possibility.
