The game has shifted from being very adaptable, even in the late game, to you've got to know what you'll end up with until turn 7 max.

To be honest I'm rather kind towards the new option. I actually prefer rolling for the stuff I know I want rather than starting your tactic by forcing tier 5 minions from discovers or trying to get anything decent on turn 10 while others already have their stuff.

The only thing that bugs me is doomsayer really. Changing the avenge counter to 4 should do the trick. It Will still be strong but other tribes should have more time to grow stronger.

People say beasts are too strong but they're over exaggerating. If anything frog should be a tier 3 minion with stats changed to 4/4.

So basically what would have been a perfect change for me were doomsayer to avenge 4 and frog to tier 3 with 4/4 stats.

When it comes to BG. Turns should start at the same moment for everybody. And then the time remaining should be a constant number varied by turn counter.

It's the first patch I've started using the skip battle phase exploit. Sorry but 30 seconds in the late game is not even close to being enough with current builds.

Turns should start at the moment the last fight ends. That's the only way to work around it.

Its strong when it works but you basically needs all the pieces to make it work. I play few games a day and I cant really say you're getting blown by it every game with beats or what's more important in the early game. Its very strong end game build but there is nothing wrong with that.

Just put leapfrogged to tier 3 at most. But I'm not even sure that's mandatory.

I dont care what HSReplay says. There are 2 very broken heroes in game. Shudderwock with tokens is almost always autowin. Nguen is broken as hell. Noone in their right mind will pick Silas or Flurgal over i

Leapfrogger is just broken. Lvl 2 minion that is played over T6 Wolf is just stupid. Also the animations...

My suggestion to fix: remove shudderwock,

make Nguen random , not pick one,

Leapfrogger cant buff minion that already has this dearhrattle.

    Impatient Doomsayer: Avenge(4)

    And buff pirates.

I can agree with all but leapfrogger. Youre basically killing the card with such nerf. Just move it to tier 3 and that's all.

    Gets defeated by murlocs tho.

Murlocs usually have bigger stats at the start of combat, so even against beasts with reborn they should live.

And then poison just stops the combo in its tracks

posted a message on Why there is so much hate on Mercenary mode or on Hearthstone in general?

Because they added a new game mode while standard and wild format suck ass for most players. So its like "yeah we know you don't like how to game is going to look now, but anyway, we're not donna do anything about it and btw, here is a new game mode"

I've started playing Hearthstone on GvG launch. After enjoying almost every aspect of the game for like 2 years it started to annoy me more than it made me smile. Tried going away for few months, then coming back etc. Switched to Elders SCrolls Legends and got pretty good rank there. Tried magic the arena. Eternal card game. Legends of runeterra for like a year starting from beta.

No matter what, at some point, all I'm starting to see is that I lost/won due to rng impact. Yes, I'm talking here about drawing badly, poorly, facing counter decks. No matter I lost or won in such situations, It would have always left me with feeling of injustice and that neither I nor my opponent couldn't have done anything to prevent it.

Deep down inside Id love to don't give a shit about matchups like this and focus on skill testing games and so on. But even then I remind myself about pro players on twitch who 90% of the time excuse their losses or wins with stuff like "better hand, didn't draw, counter decks etc".

I feel like when I started my journey with ccgs, there was a ton of things to learn and there was no place for focusing on stuff like bad draws etc. I would just accept it as it is, just focusing on my misplays, animations, interactions. But once I get to know it pretty well all I'm starting to feel is a terrible fear of RNG. In my mind, it's just not acceptable to let things get out of my hands. I love to have control over things and when I feel there is nothing I can make to work it out I just leave it cause it slows me down. Here in card games I just feel like too much depend on RNG and despite great moments, there are too many that make me feel bad.

It just shows how people's minds differ from each other. I mean some people just accept shitty matchups and only focus on what's nice. Maybe somebody had been in such phase before and managed to overcome it?

It is especially frustrating because hearthstone is rigged. From your matchups, to your draw, after a while you come to see it no matter how many shills try to deny it.

It doesn't matter anyway. If you didn't care that much you wouldn't have analyzed it at that level. That's why I guess, if you can't acknowledge the fact, that there are certain things you can't do anything about, card games are prolly not meant for you.

You can make cards in the Shop golden. How is making a Primalfin or Amalgeddon golden not worth it for a 6?

Or twice as golden with brann : ))

I know you want to focus on the RNG aspect of the game, but what I'm actually seeing here is an intense fear of losing. Until you get over that, you will not find much joy in any competitive interaction. Without winners and losers, there is no competition.

Once you accept that playing the game means losing the game about half the time, you might not worry so much about why you lose a game, be it RNG, misplays, or simply a bad match-up. Next time you lose a game of Hearthstone, don't allow yourself to dwell on the negative feeling of defeat, and do not analyze why you lost. Instead, try to think about the positive aspects of the game you just played. Feel happy for your opponent if something really lucky happened for them. Appreciate a skillful play they made. Just think about some of the interesting card interactions you just saw, which are the reason we all play these games.

It will be healthy if you learn to release your grip. You can't control every aspect of the cards any more than you can control every aspect of the real world. In both cases, it makes more sense just to do your best and try to enjoy the ride. In the end, would you rather look back at all the fun you had, or all the control you had?

I guess that's it. It's just a terrible fear of losing and not being able to do anything about it. I think it's just time to come back to MMORPGs. I think I've played too many card games last few years.
