I can't be the only one who thinks this deck is completely insane, an otk on turn 4-5 shouldn't be possible, doesn't matter if the deck has low winrate or isn't as good, Tickatus is not that good and people cry about it all the time because it's unfun and frustrating, im sure dying on turn 5 with your oponnent spamming infinite 0 mana spells is really fun isn't it? My last match i had 38 HP (hero + board) and the fucker killed me easily on turn 5, i faced this deck 6 times in total (i know it's not much) and in all of them the oponnent had the combo on turn 4-6, am i really unlocky or this shit is that consistent? This deck makes me auto concede against mage because this thing existing makes me really mad and angry with the world...
Pls don't come in the comments to say i'm crying (or do i don't care) because i know, i'm crying (not literally, but almost) and pissed as fuck because of this deck, who never got really mad because of a game don't judge me!

Tickatus is the worst card ever because it locks out all other control decks. I will never relent. It has made me like the entire game far less than I would. I have never ever wanted a nerf more than to Tickatus of any game, any CCG, ever. I absolutely loathe the card and wish they just moved it to Wild or make it 9 mana or destroy their own cards. Anything.

It is as most of us predicted. No mention of the most hated CCG card ever - Tickatus - but I hope that comes soon. Make it destroy from BOTH decks and problem mostly solved. Or make it 8 mana.

One single card prevents every other class from playing control. People must stop defending it.
It is my least favorite card ever in any card game. I will not play control until it's gone, so that just means not playing at all most of the time, because BG's, Duels, and aggro get old. I love fair control decks. Tickatus is the worst card ever.

Lunacy to 4 mana
Pen Flinger can only target minions (or is random enemy)
Both watch towers have one less health
I don't care about what people say thaty Tickatus isn't the problem, and it's Warlock removal. That is true, they have WAY too much removal. But Tickatus is a problem for a majority of the people to HAVE FUN. I hate that card more than any other card ever.

This is both working as intended and working as most people think it should. It's just part of it that drawing a card that will cost 0 (primarily warlock and rogue), you take the chance it will be a token spell. Just risk/reward and if they did change it, it would drastically increase the power of any card that draws and makes 0-cost. Since they never intended that to happen, all draw-cost-0 effects would need to be nerfed.
TLDR: working as designed and intended. Feature, not a bug.

The first expansion of a year/season is ALWAYS the best one to buy in general due to the fact those cards will be valid for 24 months, whereas the second set is approximately 20 and the final set approximately 16 months.
That said, with all the changes to Core and the likely bump in users due to both the usual post-expansion increase as well as the definite buzz I've seen elsewhere for Core changes, it might be even better than a usual year to buy it.
My wife and I always get the big pre-order and then use gold for packs. Due to the battle pass being FAR more generous than it was originally portrayed to be, I have well over 10k gold and she has 6k gold. I'm level 205 and many days just play a couple of games.
To me, the preorder is a good value with just the packs and the pass. I would have to buy the BG pass anyway, so I can deduct that straight from the preorder cost. The 2 golden legendaries and the golden packs are definitely in-game values (even if they are all dusted). I always take the hero skin as completely extra, take it or leave it. I never care what skin it is.
Good luck out there and let's hope for a smooth launch!

I think Tickatus is the worst-designed and most broken card in Hearthstone for sure, and could rival the worst card in any CCG.
It absolutely should be a corrupted 3/3 or 4/4. And it DEFINITELY should ALWAYS remove the player's cards, as in it will always remove 5 cards from the player who played it, but if corrupted, then it also removes opponent's cards.
I don't think I've ever hated a Heartstone card as much as Tickatus. Cards that pull a single card from your deck or hand into play are costly or have potential downsides, but this is insane.
How about leaving it as-is, but any minions it pulls are put onto your opponent's board.

It's time for these charge cards to go. They do limit design space more than most people realize, even frequenters to this site and board. If you truly want to play some of these cards as-is, then play Hearthstone Classic as it was in 2014. I play standard/core, BGs, and I do actually enjoy Duels.

Hearthstone is a much fuller experience, with a free Core set, raucous Wild, intriguing Classic, the best auto-battler (imo), Duels, Arena, and what appears to be a shot to the bow of Slay the Spire / Monster Train type games. I'm all hype for this because my love for Hearthstone used to be tied so directly to the meta, but now there is so much fun stuff to do that no one part can keep it down.

36 with the pass, and with a 20% reduction, it essentially shaves off 10 levels from the 50, so I am 36/40 and my only goal was to get max level, with dad legend a far off goal. With Cyberpunk, Assassin's Creed, the PS5 and its exclusives, and the surprisingly good Fenix, Hearthstone and it's greedy ways have got me to play less, despite still liking the game. They need a better value proposition, honestly.
