Dr_Scaphandre posted a message on The Lich King Boss Guide - The Frozen ThronePosted in: Frozen Throne AdventurePriest and Druid are the easiest. You can pretty much just play constructed decks with those two fights. The other seven will require special decks.

monteybear posted a message on Easy First Try Lich King ExploitPosted in: Easy First Try Lich King ExploitYou have to have KT up so Defender just rezzes endlessly at the end of the turn while you wait for your Scaled Nightmares to get beefed up.

arius111 posted a message on Chakki's 9 Class Lich King Clear in 2 Hours 39 Minutes - Here's His Decks and VoDPosted in: NewsThis is cool and all, and under 3 hours, but let's address the elephant in the room. I watched his stream from the begining to the end, and he had decks prepared for all classes. Yes he did modify them a bit on some but he was prepared. Noone knew what to expect but he had decks ready for all 9 classes. Lets just not pound are chests with great achievments when we have all insider informations and brag about it like he did something unique from nothing.

celopiazza posted a message on The Lich King Boss Guide - The Frozen ThronePosted in: Frozen Throne AdventureHey guys, i used murloc on pretty much all fights and all were kinda easy to win.
All fights i could beat with murloc decks, only exceptions were druid and hunter though.
To win with warrior you have to have to wait to get the right draws, and you have to get past frostmourne to win, but with the others murloc deck's you can even before frostmourne, even turn 5! Lich King can't win against aggro! Well, you guys may have problems against the blizzard turn 6, but trying just few times should get you the win with any of the heros.
The decklists aren't the best, but they should be useful to you guys. I am a free to play player since beta, so i don't have all the cards, feel free to replace any cards you think it should. - To post a comment, please login or register a new account.

Hey, y'know that thing we had the Lich King do to cripple Hunter players? What if we tried to push it as a deck archetype?

Finally got him. I enjoyed the "play quirky decks/cards that you wouldn't normally think of" aspect, but...the "pray to RNGesus that you have the right draws at the right times, that Anyfin doesn't bring back Finja and that Arthas doesn't coin out a 2/3 on the first turn" parts were more frustrating than anything. With the exception of Warrior, the Frostmourne phase was more or less "did I draw Doomsayer/Shadow Word: Horror in time? No? Restart", there didn't seem to be much in the way of strategy to beating that stage, just...have the right card or start over, because he'll deal too much damage if you let things stay for even a turn or two.

I've played AS a rogue without Preparation in hand, does that count?

That seems like a GOOD thing. If you're playing this, you're almost definitely playing the quest. In which case having 2 drops bait Polymorph or Hex means you can get another offensive Adapt instead of needing to pick up spell immunity.

So your plan is to summon it and put it back on the next turn so you don't have to pay to summon it later?

I guess it's still a cheap Murloc to summon and having 2 increases the likelyhood of drawing it? Or something? I dunno.
