posted a message on Nathria Collection Challenge Bugged?

I've noticed this through a few expansion where if you buy the pre-order bundles the legendary cards they give you don't seem to count for the collection completion. I have every card in the expansion but it says I'm 3 legendaries short and 6 cards short of the total expac but when i go to crafting there's nothing left to craft.

Anyone else experienced this because it's preventing me from getting Diamond Olgra

Could be. I do play a bit on mobile, but mostly on PC, and I can't recall facing Nellie on mobile. But the Brann Queen Azshara combo does break the game in PC for sure

thats funny because I've never seen bran and queen azshara freeze the game on mobile but i know I've seen it played

I've both played and faced Nellie, never had the game freeze for me or opponent...

maybe it's just a mobile issue then

3 games against Warriors today and they all roped naturally and then played Nellie, the Great Thresher which freezes the game for the opponent without it looking like it. Team 5 you need to fix these bugs asap because players can actually exploit them for the win. Off the top of my head I can't remember a bug in the game that players were widely aware of and so easy to exploit.

posted a message on Bug: Nellie, the Great Thresher

This has now happened 3 times since release where my opponent or myself play Nellie, the Great Thresher and it freezes the game. I've seen in the past the floating card freeze where it looks like the opponent is about to play a card but nothing ever happens and there's no rope even after 5 minutes of waiting. The work around to was to restart Hearthstone as quickly as possible. Now with Nellie it's seems to be the same kind of bug where the game doesn't look frozen but needs to be reset and it's difficult to tell because the card and character animations, emotes, and board interactions all still work.

I've not seen this with any other colossus or new card.

I think they're waiting for the dust to settle. The meta is still very much in flux, we've already had a period of mech domination that has diminished significantly, and it was quite recently that Demon Hunter made its way to the top and overtook Quest Warrior as the best aggro deck.

But quest warrior is by far the more popular deck at every rank in the game aside from legend, where it's the second most popular

Don't get why we get these each and every single expansion these days ...
They NEVER EVER do balance change until after 2 weeks in a new expansion , they will always let us see if there isnt a sleeper deck that can put X into its place .

There is some balance change coming but you wont hear about it until its close to decided , which is NEVER in the 1st two weeks ..

I'm not asking for faster balance changes into an expansion I'm asking for communication. They used to say very early on these are the cards from the existing pool of standard cards that we are monitoring and these are the cards from the new expansion that we're going to keep an eye on. That's all I want. Because if they tell the community what they're seeing and stack that up against what players are experiencing it should hopefully lead to a healthier gaming experience.

The expansion has been out just 8 days and they had Easter holiday and a HUGE World Of Warcraft announcement in that time span too.

Relax, they'll communicate about what's coming next soon enough, maybe even tomorrow. :)

You are well aware that Team 5 is separate development group from WoW. That communication does not fall under the same banner. On top of that WoW has a patch almost every week whether it's game bugs, announcements, or balance changes to the characters. On the Team 5 wiki there is no position of community manager and there should be.

I'm hoping that you mods on Hearthpwn already reach out to or have existing lines of communication to the developers at Team 5 because this site is a great source for disseminating that information.

We need some idea of when they're looking to makes balance changes. The Team 5 from 2-3 years ago was way better at communicating with the Hearthstone community. They've had a lot of turnover in that time period but it doesn't excuse the lack of communication. I feel like Hearthpwn, reddit, playhearthstone.com, and twitter are good outlets for information but I'm not seeing anything about how the developers feel about the state of the game. I think they did a great job on this expansion and I respect the effort that this small team puts into the game but certain cards and decks need to be addressed. Most games have patch notes, updates, and events/store items during their weekly reset. Hearthstone has a weekly reset for achievements and new items pop up in the store daily but no information about balance changes.

Blizzard/Team 5 please reach out to your community

posted a message on Murozond the Infinite effect

I played Murozond the Infinite to copy Wildheart Guff but it didn't increase my mana pool. It's been a while since I've played that card but I'm guessing I didn't get the mana pool increase because it's a battlecry?

Some of these I feel are overdue especially for Warrior and Druid. I'm not saying all of these nerfs need to happen but I would be happy with any combination of these

    Quest Warrior:

Raid the Docks final stage of quest requires 3 pirates

Defias Canoneer change to 2/2 3 mana or 3/3 4 mana

Mr. Smite Your Pirates have Rush

    Druid:

Wildheart Guff  costs 6 mana up from 5

Kazakusan At the Start of the Game: if you have at least 5 dragons in your deck, Battlecry: craft a custom deck of treasures (I know this nerf is very unlikely because they don't usually change cards this drastically)

    Quest Hunter:

Defend the Dwarven District All stages of the quest require dealing damage with 3 spells instead of two OR the second stage only reduces the cost of the hero power to 1 mana

    Mech Mage:

Mecha-Shark Reduce or remove from discoverable cards Deeprun Engineer, Amalgam of the Deep, and Gorillabot A-3 OR remove Mecha-Shark from mech tribe so Mage only gets 2 copies.

Seafloor Gateway costs 4 mana instead of 3

    Mech Paladin:

Azsharan Mooncatcher / Sunken Mooncatcher make sunken mooncatcher summon another sunken mooncatcher and not a copy. This prevents Lightforged Cariel from being able to drop two heavily buffed minions for the price of one. Hearthstone has had a history of changing cards to operate this way.

    Switcheroo Priest:

Switcheroo costs 4 mana up from 3

Twin-fin Fin Twin summon another Twin-fin instead of a copy. Same reasoning as the paladin card.

     Such a dumb ideas

Then could you elaborate on why they are dumb or do you have any suggestions to make them better? I'm all ears, I know people have better ideas than I do in certain areas and I'd love to hear them.

I think Guff needs a much bigger nerf than what you suggest, OP. The card is pretty much singlehandedly limiting slower playing styles in every other class. Why play a slower deck when Druid will beat you pretty much every time? I think he should set the mana cap of both players to 20 and also cost 6 mana.

Quest priest will beat every slow deck in the game it has the best win condition in a slow matchup and druid can put up great pressure but all priest has to do is control the board. This mill priest and warlock decks might also have a chance against it. I personally think giving the other player a max mana pool of 20 is ridiculous but druid would still get to 20 mana faster so i see your point.

Kazakusan should also remplace whatever cards u have left (Up to 10 cards) with treasure. The card should not just give u 10 New cards when u r out of cards. A 40 card deck should never be a thing in HS.

It already does that. as I've stated in an earlier comment it's a conditional effect for the battlecry to work. the card still has to be play on the board but the condition of at least 5 dragons has to be met at the start of the game.

Removing or reducing Mecha-Shark from the discoverable pool or removing the tag is way to heavy handed and not something they've done before. It could definitely use some tuning, but the whole Mech package in general is incredibly strong. Security Automaton gets way out of hand.

They've made spells and minions that discover unable to discover themselves before. This wouldn't be much different from that. They reduced the discover rate of Archivist Elysiana to discover herself until they removed that ability completely.
