I thought of it, but in terms of Classic mode. I love the old Hearthstone, I love playing Rogue, and the Miracle deck, obviously, I have two of the three legendaries in this deck in golden, I have more than a half of this deck in golden, I like golden cards and never disenchant them, I have dust to make this deck full golden, and you know, it's a Classic mode, so, this deck will never become outdated anymore, I hope. So I kept that in mind when I started to climb ranks. But after some amount of games, you kinda start to not care about golden cards, and instead only care about the right plays. So in the end I forgot about the idea of a golden (and also favourite) deck, and I only cared about the right decisions in each turn. I didn't noticed anymore that some of the cards I play were golden and some were not. I just played the cards for their numbers and abilities, you know. But... maybe I should've crafted it in golden. It's just more fun and enjoyment that's for sure. But that's for me. How long will it last and how many games will you play with the deck - these are the questions though. Sorry for my English.
I guess psychology is everything. That nostalgia produced so much motivation. Also I started to play in the end of March, so I had 8 star bonus already.
man dont come back- you will suffer even more before you left
Yea... I know.. atm Im stuck in rank 10 silver, cant win anymore with deck i got as returning player.. im starting to hate the game 😂ðŸ˜
There's also a new matchmaking system, where if you lose games, you will get less skilled opponents, and when you win, you will get more skilled, in general. So it's really not that much about the deck or rank than before.
I started to play this game in autumn 2013. In July 2014 I was 8 stars away from Legend one time, inspired by Athene streams, and playing his OTK Paladin. And as it turned out later, that was my closest place ever from the Legend rank.
Since then I reached Rank 5 like ten times or something and that's it. And I always kinda regretted that I didn't done it when I was so close. But I never wanted to grind R5-Legend, because I always thought it would be so much time consuming. And I always liked to play Arena much more.
So when they released the Classic mode I was excited and motivated so much because of all this memories and I thought that now it is finally the time to do it.
And yeah, it was not easy for me. But over time, I began to understand my deck and my opponents very well, and I did it. I am so happy!
Guys, the solution to most of your complaints about Standard is Classic mode, really. In there you will always know what the opponent can or can not play. But the top deck thing will still be the thing or even more noticable, because again, you know exactly what they need to top deck.
Used to play occasionally sometimes battlegrounds, sometimes arena, with big periods of not playing at all. Now after the Classic mode came out I play about 5 hours a day in average.
Well, that actually is not a thing. You mulligan versus Miracle, you get Face Rogue. You mulligan against Control Warrior, you get Face Warrior, or even OTK. Midrange/face Shaman. Midrange/face Hunter (this is kinda the same in terms of mulligan). Midrange/Ramp/Token Druid (still the same). Face/Control Paladin if that's a thing. And of course Warlock, the hardest Class to mulligan against, you only guess if it's Zoo or Handlock. It's actually hard to mulligan correctly, because you never know what it is. And in Classic you pretty much lose the game if you mulligan for the wrong archetype. So, things are quite different, man.

This card back is related to a new achievement called "???" which has 4 different criteria to finish.

Same feelings. Classic mode for Arena would be awesome.

500g for a cardback that should have been available only once and it was more than four years ago, is that too much? I don't think so.

Sure, added it to the thread.
If there were too many Druids, I replaced the Teacher with another Sap.
Good luck!

What is more funny (and sad) to me is that you are interested in the packs, while saying that it is RNG fest.
