I can't believe they gave my boy Furgl a #32 spot. I know he's bad in the early game but in the late game, Murloc Tidecaller can get buffed over and over again by buying and selling Murlocs, and there are so many Murlocs with good battlecries that work well with this hero power. It feels like Furgl fits better into his tribe than people give him credit for. He's still bad, but he's not THAT bad.

Screwjank posted a message on All Minions That Could (Logically) be Added to Battlegrounds.Posted in: BattlegroundsI have a bit of spare time on my hands, and for some reason, stuff like this is fun to me. Here is a list of every single minion that, as the title suggests, could logically be added to Battlegrounds. I may be dedicated, but I am not dedicated enough to tier them. Feel free to comment things I missed, or cards you would like to see added from my list.
Note: I am not adding cards that have anything to do with hand interaction. For example, Don Han'Cho is a type of card I will not be including in this list. Cards that can be added but don't make the most sense will have a * next to them, mainly due to potential to be OP, no text, or inapplicable keywords, IE Rush or Stealth.
Without further adieu, let's begin.
Mechs:
Faithful Lumi, Glow-Tron, Hot Air Balloon, Skaterbot*, Micro Mummy, Upgradeable Framebot, Venomizer, Bronze Gatekeeper, Demolisher (Would have to be "At the start of Combat"), Sky Claw, Spider Bomb, Blightnozzle Crawler, Wargear, Mechanical Whelp, Gyrocopter*, Safeguard, Beryllium Nullifier*, Bull Dozer, Warbot, Anodized Robo Cub, Explosive Sheep*, Whirling Zap-o-matic, Flying Machine, Spider Tank*, Gorillabot A-3, Clockwork Knight, Upgraded Repair Bot, and Force-Tank MAX.
Murlocs:
Murloc Raider*, Grimscale Oracle, Murmy, Bilefin Tidehunter, Puddlestomper*, and Murloc Knight (Wouldn't work for all Heroes).
Demons:
Blood Imp, Witchwood Imp, Void Terror, Pit Lord, Sneaky Devil, Void Ripper*, Fearsome Doomguard*.
Beasts:
Note: Since there are a lot of beasts that I could put an asterisk next to, I am not including them.
Angry Chicken, Gurubashi Chicken, Timber Wolf, Young Dragonhawk, Dread Raven, Ornery Tortoise, Night Prowler, Fiery Bat (This and Demolisher would not be able to target Heroes.), Crackling Razormaw, Haunted Creeper, Huge Toad (Same thing as Fiery Bat), Ravasaur Runt, Addled Grizzly, Pantry Spider, Pterrordax Hatchling, Stoneskin Basilisk, Exploding Bloatbat, Ravenous Pterrordax, King of Beasts, Nesting Roc, Verdant Longneck, Ornery Direhorn, Gahz'rilla, Grotesque Dragonhawk, Volcanosaur, Giant Sand Worm, Violet Wurm, and Hadronox.
Tribeless:
Note: This is going to take a long time, so I am going to do the same thing I did with Beasts. A lot of the minions I don't include either have no text, or are completely inapplicable to Battlegrounds. I am only putting asterisks after Inspire minions because it isn't applicable to every Hero.
Raid Leader, Razorfen Hunter, Shattered Sun Cleric, Dragonling Mechanic, Plaguebringer, Windspeaker, Gurubashi Berserker, Stormwind Champion, Acherus Veteran, Beaming Sidekick, Cogmaster, Undertaker, Zealous Initiate, Amani Berserker, Argent Protector, Boneguard Lieutenant*, Dozing Marksman, Fallen Sun Cleric, Lance Carrier, Lost Spirit, Shadow Ascendant, Temple Berserker, Boisterous Bard, Candletaker, Crypt Lord, Dark Cultist, Eggnapper, Flesheating Ghoul, Kabal Talonpriest, Raging Worgen, Sewer Crawler, Tauren Warrior, Aberrant Berserker, Bloodhoof Brave, Bone Wraith, Cursed Disciple, Infested Tauren, Kooky Chemist, Night Howler, Rumbletusk Shaker, Wildwalker, Anubisath Sentinel, Druid of the Fang, Fungalmancer, Kvaldir Raider*, Silver Hand Knight, Sunborne Val'kyr, Eccentric Scribe, Necrotic Geist, Temple Enforcer, Bonemare, Brazen Zealot, Young Priestess, Crazed Alchemist, Grandmummy, Master Swordsmith, Sparring Partner, Frothing Berserker, Convincing Infiltrator, Lone Champion, Shrieking Shroom, Val'kyr Soulclaimer, Backroom Bouncer, Eager Underling, Mad Hatter, Corpse Raiser, Ram Wrangler, Wobbling Runts, Grimestreet Protector, Garrison Commander*, Drakkari Enchanter, Faceless Shambler, Magnataur Alpha, Rattling Rascal, Twilight Summoner, Darkspeaker, Faceless Manipulator, Snapjaw Shellfighter, Abominable Bowman, Linecracker, Splitting Festeroot, Sergeant Sally, High Priest Amet, Bandersmosh (Would work similarly to Shifter Zerus), Gruul, and Rotface.
This took over an hour, hopefully I got everything. Once again, please let me know if I forgot anything, and feel free to say which cards YOU would like to see added!

xskarma posted a message on Battlegrounds - Nerf to Demons This Week - More Content On the WayPosted in: NewsIt's an old Blizzard joke. They never give a solid time frame for anything it's always "soon" and soon might be at any point in the future, near or far. It got overused to the point that it seemed like "soon" was a Blizzard trademark. Hence "Soon™"
They have poked fun at it over the years themselves too. :)
EDIT: Decided to remove it from the news post to not confuse people. The joke can live on in the comments.

lostkiwi posted a message on Battlegrounds - Possible Demon Tribe Changes ComingPosted in: News- Floating Watcher to Teir 4 - It means it will be several turns before it starts growing, meaning it will never get as huge as it does currently.
- Also Soul Juggler to Tier 4 - The big thing about Demons is that you have no reason to go past tier 3 until you get a triple, where only then you level to Tier 4 and hope to discover Mal'Ganis or Voidlord from the discover.
- Cobalt Guardian to Tier 4, or arguably even Tier 5 - The cards effects are way to strong for Tier 3.
- Metaltooth Leaper to tier 3. This will also help the power level of Mech's, without nerfing it too hard.
Also, Murlocs need some love. Either you get extremely lucky to make the Brann Bronzebeard + Gentle Megasaur combo and win the game, or almost always die before you get there. Perpaps add another Murloc unit at tier 3? Once change I would make though is that if you get Divine Shield off Gentle Megasaur then the odds of getting Poisonous are reduced, and vice versa. It's just too powerful a combination, and one single drop of Gentle Megasaur shouldn't be enough to outright win you the game.

MurderOClock posted a message on BGrounds: Make Spawns Deal Half Damage!!!Posted in: BattlegroundsI think that just making it so that every minion that comes from a deathrattle proc represents one damage would be a good fix. Hitting that Rat Pack last feels bad, but it also rewards the player that (probably) put buffs and ordered correctly to keep him alive. Taking an extra 4 because a Shredder that drops Toxfin is just ludicrous.
Also: Demons, ammiright?

uiasdnmb posted a message on BGrounds: Make Spawns Deal Half Damage!!!Posted in: BattlegroundsI think shredder and golem should be altered to drop minions based on stars (2 star / 3 star) because how am I supposed to know how much mana units cost in battlegrounds. Also we could use some kind of lower star Zapp because there's no option to snipe core tech cards behind the taunts right now.

You only destroy the last spirit when your scaled nightmare is strong enough to 1-hit kill the Lich King, until then you just hero power end turn. Easy fight once you have the draw RNG.
