posted a message on Mana Tide Totem - Must or Bust?

Double manatide is risky and not something I personally go for, but I can see why some people run it.  A single mana tide though is almost required IMO.

posted a message on I crafted Neptulon, now i feel silly.

For the same reason some paladins put Blood Knight in their deck to eat their own Divine Shields, maybe some sort of mid-range shaman deck uses Hungry Crab to eat the weaker murlocs.

And the new Shaman card Siltfin Spiritwalker is essentially a better Cult Master.  Higher health means it survives more.  Same mana cost means it can trade with 2/2, 3/2, and 4/2 minions on curve and still live.  And it synergizes with the rest of the deck.  I have some ideas on a shaman deck that piggy backs on the "Shaman and Friends" deck with some alterations.

posted a message on Midrange Hype, just add tokens.

I'm curious on what minions you prefer to use Recombobulator on.  The only minion I would really want to use it on would be Bomb Lobber since his mana cost overall provides better stats than his 3/3 body.  I would probably never use Recombobulator on tokens though.

posted a message on Update to Paladin Control Deck for GVG

Please don't take this the wrong way, but I feel like the changes thus far are making the deck lose focus.  The original deck, was definitely a control focused deck.

I think removing the sky golem and replacing it for cult master takes this into the realm of "Temp Decks" though.  Also,  I think one of the users mentioned that they were running Sneed's and you responded with "It usually gets silenced"; however in decks where you have a big legendary that you don't want silenced you need to offer up other "juicy" targets beforehand.  Notable examples that fall into this category are Piloted Sky Golem, Cairne Bloodhoof, Sylvanas Windrunner, Bolvar Fordragon since they are all mid tier cards that you play, that can draw out removal for your bigger cards.

Hey Drux!  If you check out the deck itself I've put a lot of explanations on why I did (or did not) include some cards.  I didn't include Nozdormu because...well he just wasn't random enough! :) Also, I really really wanted Mindgames to work, but unfortunately it was skewing my curve too high and I needed more 2 drops so I replaced my 2x Mindgames with 2x Shadowboxer.

Ah, I see... really enjoyed the deck with explanations, made a few alterations to my own Fun-decks. Still keeping Nozdormu, that dragon gets me so many kills just because people panic, and that's fun! Really jealous of that Rocking Chieftain^^

    You've got some nice cards!

Glad you enjoyed the explanations!  Nozdormu is still a fine choice for the deck as you're right he does cause some opponents to panic; I just prefer some of the shenanigans and slight control Ysera affords me.

And F2P_GoodLuck, it is a fun deck to play.  It's totally an inconsistent and "for fun only" deck but I'm trying to tweak it to see just how high in the ladder I can go with it.

I was looking through the other Randuin Wrynn decks and noticed something.  A lot of them were including some cards that were too high for the curve, and weren't necessarily random (e.g. Nozdormu).  While these are definitely fun cards I feel there should be a stronger "random" theme for the deck and something more up to date.  As such, I created a new deck that hopefully fits the bill while minimizing the "non-rng" cards.

Check it out and let me know what you guys think! :)

This is the one card I crafted and it's replaced Ragnaros as my go-to legendary.  Hilarious results inbound!

To whomever was arguing that this wouldn't insta-kill you.  You're wrong.  There already exists a card that does the same thing but on a single unit level.  I actually tested it out in ranked the other day in a unique situation where I faceless'd a Aucheni.  I then proceeded to use Ancestral healing on the enemy unit.  The result?  It instantly died.  A niche situation that I had never run into but I figured losing a rank to see what happened was well worth the science! :

posted a message on New Card - Scarlet Purifier

Holy, you might be right in that it's effect isn't quite as good as everyone thinks; however it's an anti-deathrattle meta-card.  It's essentially another 2 damage sweeper (that only affects deathrattles).  And as some people may or may not have pointed out, having something die when you *want* it to is quite important.  Popping an egg earlier then someone thought so you can deal with it on your own terms is usually better then allowing your opponent to pop it.

Think about it in this example.  A warlock who runs egg+power overwhelming usually gets to 2:2 on you with his 2 cards.  However, if you pop the egg for "free" with this card, then you can turn that 2:2 into a 1:2 (in your favor) which negates the "value" of the card.

Part of card games is either forcing your opponent into difficult situations by doing something unexpected or not when they want you to.
